Rated 5 out of 5 by Greta D from Perfect Comforter for my Needs. This comforter is exactly what I was seeking. It's not a fluffy, heavy flannel, but more of a smooth breathable fabric. I'm not too hot, nor am I too cold. It takes a couple of washes before the softer flannel appearance begins to emerge. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It is wonderful- perfect for a duvet! Slightly heavier and thicker than normal flannel. I am not sure I would identify it as flannel, but it is not not flannel. The heft makes this the best behaved as well as most comfy duvet I have ever slept under. And obviously the pattern is gorgeous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flyingcornwoman from Excellent quality I’m very happy with the Winter Duvet cover. It is very heavy which means it is very high quality fabric. It will get softer and softer each time I wash it but seems like it will hold up well and won’t pill over time as some cheaper flannel is prone to do. I love the colors and the fabric design, which is perfect for winter on our down comforter. We have a different, lighter weight comforter for the summer months. While it’s true that it’s not soft flannel like pajamas as some reviews point out, I think it will get there over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LaLaLu from Makes for a cozy bed I was so excited to get this on my bed! It is very nice quality, love the colors and scheme, and is everything that I had hoped for. The only "curious" thing is that it said flannel, which it does have, but it's on the inside. No matter. I'm thrilled! And my cats all love it too!
