Tulip Bed is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved the scale of this bed for my smaller sized bedroom. Its simple design is handsomely accented with the tulip finials. I ordered it in the cherry stain and I like its warm color. A word of caution, it requires a half-height box spring. Even with that, it makes for quite a high bed. Short people will literally have to jump into bed. Sitting on the edge of the bed is difficult even for a tall person like me.Expensive purchase especially with shipping and handling. Buy it on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bed I ordered the Tulip Bed for our guest room, and I was nervous because I had never ordered furniture online. However, the Tulip Bed is just a beautiful in the room as it is in the pictures. It is heirloom quality, and I expect that we will enjoy it for many years to come. Highly recommend.

Can a bed skirt be used on this? Would it go behind the wood slats on the sides? Also, can a 5" box spring and 11" mattress work?

Asked by: MMH1
Yes, you can use a bedskirt, but it would hide the wood side panels. We recommend an 8" deep mattress & 7" deep boxspring (anything deeper will hide bottom portion of the headboard). A box spring is required.

Can I use a wood slat base instead of a box spring?

Asked by: shauny
We do not recommend a wood slat as it may make the mattress sit low on the bed.
