It appears to be well made and the colors are distinctive. The tag on the pillow indicates the manufacturer is a member of the Fair Labor Association. I checked out their their website and it shares that the company is a member under "About" and from spot checking products each says the same with the product details. I would assume this is to indicate each item is fair trade. We appreciate fair labor practices, providing workers with livable wages and healthy working conditions, and typically try to buy accordingly. Garnet Hill's website does not indicate this connection for this pillow. I thought I was making a compromise by purchasing a cute pillow from a sweatshop but I was very pleased to see this appears to not be the case. Would be nice if Garnet Hill would include information like fair labor practices with the products' details. It is also smaller than the average throw pillow but still looks great with our couch's other throw pillows.

We live in the Central Valley of CA where agriculture is our number one industry. We can grow anything out here, and bees are an important part of bringing food to the table. I LOVE bees! Having this beautiful pillow in our living room, for me, reminds me of our special area and what we help to produce for the world.
