Dive in! How to choose the right swimsuit and care for it

Activity level, desired coverage, personal style…there’s a lot to think about when choosing a swimsuit. Each of our swim collections is designed with a specific focus to create suits that best suit you and the many moods of swim season. We’re breaking them down to help you pick the perfect suit, plus providing tips to care for it.

THE RUCHED COLLECTION: SHAPED TO FLATTER

Made from our softest and most buttery swim fabric, the designs in this collection create flattering silhouettes and drape beautifully to conceal any areas you might feel self-conscious about. This is your swimsuit if you are looking for a style that feels as great on as it looks.

THE ACTIVE COLLECTION: MADE FOR MOVEMENT

These suits provide excellent coverage and unprecedented comfort without the worry of unwanted suit slippage as you move. Designed with our slightly heavier-weight fabric, this collection is ideal if you are active at the beach. From grabbing your paddleboard and hitting the surf to playing a pickup game of beach volleyball, these styles will suit your needs.

THE SIGNATURE COLLECTION: SIGNATURE QUALITY, SIGNATURE STYLE

Made from slightly heavier-weight swim fabric that supports and smooths, the swimsuits in this collection are more streamlined and on trend if you are looking for a suit that will match your style.

BONUS BENEFIT: HERE COMES THE SUN!

All our suits and swim fabrics provide UPF 50+ sun protection.

GUIDE TO CARING FOR YOUR GARNET HILL SWIMSUIT

  • Always refer to and follow the instructions printed on the care label.
  • Rinse your swimsuit in fresh water after wearing to remove any salt, chlorine, or sunscreen. This will help prolong the life of your swimwear.
  • Wash your swimsuit in cold water. It’s gentler on the fabric. Plus, it uses less energy, making the washing process better for the environment.
  • Use a microfilter washing bag. The bag will protect your swimwear and help prevent snagging while blocking microfibers from entering the water supply.
  • Once washed, air-dry your swimsuit. This helps to minimize fading, and it uses less energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions caused by the dryer.
