When we think of fall, the first thing that comes to mind are rich hues and pieces you can layer again and again and again. Recently, we asked Gail Gonzalez of to show us her must-have colors and looks for the season. She partnered with us to illustrate how easily you can transition your look with a few key pieces and deeper, bolder shades.

This season, Gail was inspired by our retro spice palette, featuring tones of Caramel, Turmeric, Honey Gold, Merlot, Mahogany, and more. Here are some of the highlights she selected from our latest collection. We love the way she styled these versatile pieces to make them must-haves for fall.

LOOK #1: the camisole as a wardrobe chameleon

To transition into the season, Gail started out with this camisole, the ultimate warm-to-cool laying piece. Here she pairs it with acorn-colored slacks to create a chic daytime outfit.

Then she added a scarf for a chic touch that instantly dresses up the look for a virtual work meeting or an evening outing.

If adding a scarf isn’t your thing, there’s nothing that screams fall like a timeless trench coat

LOOK #2: the day-to-evening jumpsuit

Gail told us that she loves jumpsuits. This black one with subtle hints of floral is ideal for many occasions. It’s lightweight, so you’re not likely to get too warm, and it layers beautifully for when the weather gets cooler.

Look #3: separates to mix, match, and love

This mahogany-colored knit top and matching skirt are also versatile fall picks. Wear them together for a put-together ensemble, or mix them with other pieces in your wardrobe to coordinate many looks. The fabric is so soft and it drapes nicely, making these pieces sophisticated yet comfortable, ideal if you are still working from home.
