HAPPY AT HOME: NEW MOMS & LEGACY BABY BLANKET
A series about creating, learning, and thriving today

This week, we’re featuring the Garnet Hill Legacy Baby Blanket, the gift so special, it’s what we give to our employees when a newborn arrives.

We consider our employees family, so we’re always overjoyed to hear when someone on the team is expecting. As part of the celebration, it’s become a Garnet Hill tradition to give this baby blanket to our employees, when a baby joins the family.

Made in Maine, exclusively for us by Brahms Mount, a family-owned company renowned for artisanal blankets, the heirloom-quality Legacy Baby Blanket is woven on antique looms from substantial cotton yarns. The soft, beautifully textured design has been part of our collection for decades.

Megan from our Brand team welcomes daughter Ellie:

“Receiving the Legacy Baby Blanket after Ellie was born was such a sweet surprise. It’s such a special, timeless blanket that I know we’ll treasure for a long time. What a fun way to welcome new babies to the Garnet Hill family.”

Emily from our Design team welcomes daughter Windsor:

“This blanket was given to us with the birth of our first child, Gabriel, almost 2 years ago. It’s been loved and passed down to my new daughter, Windsor. It’s been a reminder during these complex times that my Garnet Hill family is with us. The blanket’s my connection to my work friends and community. I honestly can’t tell you how much that means to me.”

Kaely from our Merchandising team welcomes daughter Madeline:

“Garnet Hill is a great place to work. It’s a special company that makes you feel like you are part of a family. We felt the love when we received our Legacy Blanket while I was on my maternity leave. It’s beautiful, classic, and made to last.”

Maartje from our Merchandising team welcomes daughter Maren:

“It’s such a thoughtful gift to commemorate this time with my family and Maren’s arrival. I will cherish this special baby blanket always, and it will make a nice keepsake. It’s so soft and cozy and I love all the colors.”

While we’re at home, it’s important to stay connected to family, friends, and our community. At Garnet Hill, we’re celebrating uplifting events and creating new traditions that emphasize the positive.
