I made a quick stop at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway wheelhouse on the way south through the notch on the last day of 2017. No skiers were waiting.  A few were scattered around the mountain.  It was -22F at the summit.  I chatted it up with the man in charge there while I waited for this crate to slide down the cable.  Snapped a few photos and scrambled outta there.  I had no gloves on.  It was -5F. The tramway man-in-charge told me an employee must ride to the summit on the roof of a car each morning, before any passenger runs. To inspect the cables was the reason. My wife and daughter waited in the warm buggy while I had ran off to shoot some of these photos.. . #whitemountains #cannonmountain#igersnewengland #igersnewhampsire#skiing#extremecold#newengland#cannon #newhampshire #belowzero #dayone #cannonmountain #franconianotch
