Rated 4 out of 5 by Fay40 from Pretty dress but… This is a pretty dress but I was surprised that the shoulders of the dress just fell off. There were strap snaps to attach to your bra but I was not happy with the flimsy design. I had to take the dress to my seamstress who pulled in the shoulders and made better strap snaps than was originally provided. At the price (even on sale) of this dress, I was disappointed that I had to go to the trouble and added expense to fix it. Out of the ordinary for Garnet Hill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Angela69 from Not sure... it's a really beautiful, unique dress, which is why I purchased it and, at 5'9", felt I could carry it off. But I'm not sure if it is for the 'mature woman.' I am in my 50s and having hot flashes. I need breathable fabrics. Assumed this would be cotton. It says dress is 'Ramie' and lining is Rayon. I felt immediate overheating and irritation, after putting on. And that is inside, at room temp. So, outside in the heat? At this price point, not sure if wearable for me. But for someone younger or without my overheating issues, this may work. Also felt generously sized. I might have gotten away with a small, I think. I got a M, still works but there is a lot of fabric. Lining fits well over my generous hips. Front bodice is fairly low, could be nipped at shoulders, to bring up slightly...
