Textured Oversized Sweater is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Versatile I was looking for a sweater in beige to wear with my new loden green, wide-leg, linen pants. I found this sweater in ecru — and on sale. I ordered it in an extra small based on the description stating it was “oversized”. I’m so happy with it! It’s perfect in fit, color and quality. And looks great with my pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable & stylish After a double mastectomy with no rebuild clothing is hard to find. But this sweater is soft and comfortable as well as a style that can be worn with black dress pants or jeans. It doesn’t cling and here in the south could be worn year round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect beach sweater I bought the navy and green and decided to keep the green because the color is so unique.i live on the Northern California coast and it is not as warm as people think: layers are the key to comfort. I layer this sweater with a white linen shirt that is long and it looks great with a pair of jeans and flip flops. I sized down to a medium and it is a great fit. I am a 10-12 and it can be tricky finding the fit that is best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful sweater I usually buy a medium but I read the reviews and decided to try small. Glad I did. Small is perfect. 140 lbs. 5’10”. 34B

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best to hurry before it's gone! Well then, Garnet Hill wanted me to write a review for their 'Textured Sweater' so here it is... I purchased the first sweater in grey (though it had been offered additionally in navy, mint, and ecru) when it was 'the sale of the day'. That said, before the end of the day a little voice told me because I had something that a mint colored top would work beautifully with I went back before the 'end of the day' and taking a big chance, ordered the top in mint also. So then I was relegated to wait-wait-wait, what I thought (because I was so anxious to discover whether or not I had wasted money on shipping) an exorbitant length of time for the two sweaters to wend their way to me. Suffice to say, the evening I received the grey sweater I ordered the navy blue, in my usual GH size xs. Two or three days later--note without waiting for the navy to arrive--fearing the sweater in ecru would soon be gone I order the remaining color. Why?, any sentient individual would likely wonder--four identical sweaters (save for color)? So then, here is the reason. More often than not 'oversized or boxy' is a buzzword for something that will fit like 'Omar's tent'. Aha!, but, owing to the clever switch in stitch (purl to knit) just under each breast in the front and correspondingly in the back, that for all the world looks like a 'seam', and, because the designer obviously eschewed completely obscuring a woman's form in folds of fabric, this gorgeous sweater though roomy and comfy manages to look none the less, feminine. Oh, yes, and the GH 'True fit' (a boon that serves to soften the shipping charge) sizing was, as usual, right on target with this one too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! This is a great sweater - the blue is beautiful and it hides all my flaws while still being fashionable. It’s made from cotton and linen, good for the beach or spring/fall.

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and can not wear any thing at all itchy. Can you feel the linen fibers or slubs of linen on the inside? If it is a good quality linen it is usually OK but must be very soft.

Asked by: Melanie M
We have checked our sample and find it to be soft on the inside with a smooth feel.

I noticed one review that stated the width of this sweater is 25+ inches from arm hole to arm hole.  I usually get a medium; however, I think this may be too generous.  Can you measure the width of the small, please?

Is this see through? Do I need to wear something underneath?

Asked by: alexander
It is not see through, however if you were choosing the color Ecru, we would recommend wearing a camisole underneath the sweater.
