Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Vermont Winters Great for Vermont Winters. Could be made of a thicker, softer material, but all in all good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from SMELL IS OVERWHELMING I will probably return these items. They are adorable and such a clever idea, however, the unpleasant odor is awful. These cannot been given as gifts do to what I call 'a mechanical odor". Don't know how to remove the odor. I placed on my enclosed back porch to have air circulate, however, the smell isn't dissipating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute idea... I think this is adorable but the smell is horrible!! Left it on screened porch for a week—no change. Currently have cover soaking in the sink but my hands reek and the smell from the bathroom is giving me an asthmatic reaction. This was for a gift and I’m so disappointed. The smell, to me, is not mechanical, it’s poisonous—mothballs. Do not buy! I may return or just use the hot water bottle without the adorable cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The smell was unbearable I was attracted to the sweater cover. The bottle itself smelled so offensively I had to put it outside until I could decide what to do. The smell had penetrated the cover as well. I washed the cover and left it in the sun to air for days. The water bottle's smell did not diminish after several weeks so I threw it in the trash. I bought a new bottle for the cover.
