Doing good, one stitch at a time.
We’ve been celebrating Earth Day since our founding as a natural fibers company in 1976, thoughtfully designing and passionately crafting enduring products for you, your family, and your home. With each stitch, we strive to find innovative new ways to unite responsible sourcing and sustainability with our comfortably timeless design. Because we believe that integrity never goes out of style and that every day really is Earth Day.

Organic Cotton
Made from cotton fibers that are farmed without harmful pesticides, GMOs, or chemical defoliants, organic cotton is a staple in our collections. By farming cotton organically, the harmful impact of pesticides to the land and waterways is eliminated — and it’s soft and breathable against your skin.

Linen
Linen is made with flax that needs as much as 60% less water to grow than cotton. It’s less susceptible to disease and pests, thus it requires fewer chemicals and pesticides. And linen lasts even longer than cotton — and longevity is perhaps the best path to sustainability. We love this fiber because it’s breathable, naturally regulates temperature, and has a beautiful texture.

TENCEL™ Lyocell
Made from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed trees that are grown without harmful substances, TENCEL™ Lyocell is one of the most eco-friendly fibers on the market. It’s created using a closed-loop production process that requires less water and less energy, with minimal impact on the environment. The end result is beautiful fabric with a touch of luster, superlative softness, and elegant drape.
