Supima® Cotton Hemstitched Adjustable Bedskirt is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 108.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is one of the few ready made bed skirts that is long enough for a high bed. The fabric was acceptable but there were no pins or clips to attach to the box spring. I would not purchase this product again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bed skirt, if you’re into that sort of thing This bedskirt was too long/deep for my low-lying bed, which meant that I would need to push the tops of the three pieces toward the center of the box spring, and do so in approximately three long straight lines (one for each piece of the bedskirt), and also get them all evenly fluffed out while attaching them to each other under the mattress. I did go so far as to read all of the (mostly favorable) reviews, and I followed the suggestion of one who said putting the thing in the dryer went a long way to removing the many, many WRINKLES (it did!). Then I got it all sorted out and began shoving it under the mattress. But then I imagined all my feminist friends of several generations looking at me quizzically (the kindest reaction possible), so I pulled the bedskirt away, folded it up clumsily, and took it to UPS. WHAT WAS I THINKING?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bed Ruffle This bed ruffle is made from beautiful fabric but it is only the ruffle in four pieces. I was I I was disappointed that it did not cover the whole box spring . you have to tuck each piece between the mattress and box spring "not very sensible".

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful detail The bedskirt had beautiful detail. And is the perfect length. And, the 3 pieces are pretty easily arranged. And despite the light weight fabric, it looks very nice. I could see it working in maybe a guest room where you don't change the sheets very often. But the 3 piece skirt is not as practical on a bed that is changed weekly or even more often. When you strip the bedding, the bed skirt comes off too. So every time you make the bed you also have to rearrange the bed skirt. It's just not efficient for a bed that is made frequently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Surprised by multiple pieces The quality of the cotton and hem stitching is fine. However, unlike every other bedskirt I’ve bought, this is not one single piece, but three to fit the foot and two sides of the bed. I guess that’s what ‘adjustable’ means. We’ve kept it (them), as we’r using them on a seldom-occupied guest bed, but it requires two people to change the bed and get the three pieces situated between mattress and box spring. A bit impractical.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 4 different pieces The bedskirt is very pretty, but rather than coming in one piece, it comes in 4 "strands" that are tucked in individually on all for sides of the bed. This makes for easy slipping out of place. It looks nice, and was not enough trouble to make me return it, but I was a little disappointed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3 separate pieces I was surprised the bedskirt comes in 3 pieces and would have preferred a skirt attached to a liner to cover the box spring. It is a challenge to put it on the box spring without it falling off when you put on the sheets. The material is very fine quality and the ivory color is a soft off-white. Next time I'll pay attention to details. I was confused about the bedskirt being adjustable. A 16-inch length, although not offered, would have been perfect. I was not happy that this pricey bedskirt went on sale within days of my order.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a platform base The fabric and construction of the bedskirt are very nice, but without a fabric platform it does not stay in place. Every time I change sheets, I have to reposition the bed skirt and our mattress is very heavy to lift. I will have to make my own fabric platform to attach this bedskirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from needs to be ironed after washing Sorry I washed it before putting on bed. Based on reviews, needing to be ironed was not mentioned. Excellent quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strange style While the 3 panel design of this bed skirt allows for custom fitting it must be readjusted every time you make the bed. I'm considering sewing the panels to a central piece of sheeting in order to eliminate the daily hassle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but... I purchased this bed skirt on sale. If I'd paid full price, I'd probably send it back. Quality is good but I cannot figure out how to put it on my bed! Every way I've tried, it doesn't stay put.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional The adjustable bedskirt has a hard time staying in place. It would be nice if it had velcro or something to position it better. Also, the ivory color is almost yellow, not a soft white at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quality but the design is frustrating I purchased this bed ruffle six months ago and while the quality is excellent I have found it very challenging trying to keep the ruffle tucked in. The ruffle doesnt cover the entire top of the mattress: it's designed with an approximately four inch edge that you tuck in. I read in one of the other reviews that it works well to attach the dust ruffle to the mattress with quilting pins. I definitely plan to try this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Surprised about how they are made The fabric and color are great, but I had no idea bedskirts were made this way, without fabric holding the skirt together on the mattress. They are in a guest room and I am worried that the mattress shifting will mean I have to constantly readjust the skirts on all sides. I may have to find fabric and sew them to it, but do not want to spend that much effort and time on such a project! So, presentation is not as expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Read the description before you purchase This bedskirt is made nicely but I've not been able to use it because of the "adjustable" factor.. there is a narrow strip of fabric to hold the bedskirt in place on the box spring. It just doesn't stay.. every time you make the bed it gets adjusted and looks sloppy. Had I read closer-- I would have passed on this one,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design flaw Being in 3 sections just wasn’t working for me or the bed! Fabric was great and just the right amount of gathering sadly had to return.
Date published: 2020-10-22
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so happy... I didn’t realize “adjustable” meant it came in three pieces that needed to be pinned to stay in place. I’m not very happy...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won’t remain in place! Sent it back. No way this would stay under the mattress without lots of troule every time you changed the sheets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not stay put Decent fabric, poorly designed. Kept slipping onto the floor because portion that slides between mattress and box springs is not wide enough. After a month of struggling to get it to stay put, I returned it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty but constantly pulls down! I was seeking a hemstitched bed skirt. The quality of the cotton and the hemstitching is excellent. However, the design of no fabric platform to lay over the box spring, which necessitates pinning the bed skirt to the bedspring is problematic. The upholstery pins frequently pull loose and I need to adjust the bedskirt daily! I will have to sew a fabric plat

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great bedskirt except queen size Several years ago I purchased this bedskirt for a double bed, it is great, nice material and details. I recently bought the skirt for a queen sized bed, again nice material and details however I was very dissappointed by the construction. It is not actually a single bedskirt but 3 separate pieces with a +/-6" piece of material that tucks between the mattress and boxspring. All other queen size bedskirts are a single piece so I am not sure why this one was made as 3 seperate pieces. The result is that the skirt repeatedly pulls out from between the mattress and boxspring, especially when making the bed. It is incredibly annoying and dissappointing. I have looked through the product description but did not see anything that mentions the 3 seperate pieces. I have always really liked GH bedding but this skirt (queen size) is very dissapointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Permanent wrinkles Pros - detail is very nice, length is hard to find Cons - fabric is VERY WRINKLED and the wrinkles won't come out with washing or ironing. I bought 2 twins. They were very wrinkled coming out of the packaging, and felt like they had a finish (sizing?) on them. I ironed them with hottest temp and steam, to no avail. So I thought if I washed them that would help. Nope. After 3 more hours of ironing (and I'm not exaggerating), they are passable and finally on the beds. From a distance they look ok, but close up they look like I never ironed them. The wrinkles are somehow permanently in the fabric and I can't get them out, even with steam and hottest iron possible. Disappointed in this quality from GH!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good idea but flawed execution I was hoping that this bed skirt would work out for me, but I disliked the design. The panels of the bed skirt don't have any fasteners, just a four or five inch flap that you stick in between the mattress and box spring. This means that every time you strip the sheets from the bed, you have to readjust all three panels of the bed skirt, which seems to me to much more inconvenient than having to move the mattress in order to put the bed skirt down in the first place. I noticed that another reviewer said that she put quilting pins in order to secure the bed skirt to the box spring, but I think that at these prices, the bed skirt should already come with something to fasten it to the bed. It shouldn't require any adjustments on the part of the customer. I hope that Garnet Hill makes some changes to this type of bed skirt. It's a good idea that needs more work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strange construction I wish I had heeded other reviews that mentioned the bed skirt comes in three pieces. There is no way to keep it in place! I ended up pinning the skirt to the bed frame (pricking my finger in the process and getting blood on the freshly ironed skirt) and am hoping for the best. I would have returned it except for the hassle factor. The fabric is nice but not nice enough to compensate for the ridiculous construction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 Pieces This was the first Bedskirt I have ever received in three pieces making it necessary to return it. The fabric was beautiful but the use not possible
Date published: 2021-10-12
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bedskirt Very disappointed. Not a whole bedskirt. It won’t stay in place since it’s only tucked under the mattress. Every time I make the bed it comes loose & I have to constantly readjust it. Would not recommend. Surprised at GH for even selling this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality fabric just received this and laundered it to get rid of slight "manufacturing" scent. What a mistake. If you want a bed skirt that looks like it has been slept on by the dog this is it. Wrinkles, puckers and bias stretch cannot be ironed out!
Date published: 2021-02-08
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I thought I should have read the description more carefully. The skirt just tucks under the mattress and comes out/off every time you pull the sheet down to get in bed.
Date published: 2020-12-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Garnet Hill’s best-hideous fabric Horrible fabric-some kind of poplin that always looks wrinkled. Like no other bedskirt I’ve ever owned in that you just stuff it between the mattress and box spring. Always coming out. Thought it would get better after washing, but it actually got worse. Wish I had returned it before ai washed it. Do not buy this I’m sure there are better options out there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mixed reviews I very much love the fabric and the border pattern BUT it is comprised of 3 separate pieces of fabric (2 side panels and a “foot-of-the-bed panel) so I sewed the panels together to help it stay on the box spring. This fact was NOT spelled out. The product is extremely over-priced but I was willing to pay for a nice 1-piece dust ruffle—but not for 3 panels of hemmed fabric!!!

The adjustable bed skirt did not come with any directions or suggestions for keeping it attached to the box spring. Can you please provide more information?

Asked by: Kev4
The 3 flat panels tuck between your mattress and box spring. The skirt should stay in place and only need occasional adjusting. If you need additional information, please call customer service and we will be happy to help you.

Do you have to lift off the mattress in order to put the bedskirt on?

Asked by: Highpockets
You will not have to lift the mattress completely off the bed. Some lifting is needed however to arrange and tuck the bed skirt.

Do you need to adjust the panels each time you make the beds (every morning)?

Asked by: Israel
It has 3 flat panels that tuck between the mattress & box spring keeping the bed skirt in place. You should not have to adjust it each day.

Can I use the hemstitch bedskirt with an adjustable bed? How do the three pieces attach? How will it behave when the bed is raised either at the foot or head? It seems that because it is in three pieces, the skirt move freely.

Asked by: JAPZ
The three pieces of the bed-skirt tuck between the mattress and box-spring so if your mattress and box-spring raise or lower together we think you would be all set.
