Supima® Cotton Hemstitched Adjustable Bedskirt is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 104.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! My bedskirts are the loveliest I've seen, and because they are a heavenly shade of blue that had been discontinued, they were an incredible value. I also bought the sheets that match them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect with one of my favorite quilts Beautiful with a blue quilt I've had for years. I have several bed skirts similar to this one and it attaches to the Velcro edged pad that is between my mattress and foundation. It makes it easy to remove and wash the bed skirt without help. I like the fact that it comes in three parts as it is much easier to attach one section at a time. Tip: I attach the shorter end section of the skirt first. Then, using each of the longer side sections, slightly overlap at the corner next to the end of the bed (so there is no visual gap) and continue to attach along the edge ending up at the headboard. If the skirt is not even, it's simple to re-adjust it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These bed skirts are great quality, and the hemstitching adds a nice touch. I felt they were a tad pricey, but I was pleased enough with them to say I'd buy them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy This bedskirt is so easy to use..just tuck between the box spring and mattress. The only other comment that I have to make is that the color is more cream than ivory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this bedskirt! I've had a VERY difficult time finding a quility bedskirt for a daybed. This worked beautifuly. It came with 2 long side panels and one end panel, so i just shortened one of the side panels for the daybed. This is the best QUALITY bedskirt of the many that I've looked at. I used the Dream quilt and shams, also, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and goes with anything Great simple bedskirt that has a nice design with the hem stitching. Subtle and pretty and will go with any of your sheets. I find it to be quite durable in the wash as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with Selection We're happy that we ordered the bedskirt with the tuck-and-adjust design. While we had to order a size a little longer than we needed due to the size selections, it still works for us. Love the color, hemstitching and texture of the bedskirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Look I was glad I read other reviews before purchasing this bedskirt, so I knew that I would need to use quilt pins to secure it to the box spring. That was easy to do and allowed me to adjust the height as needed. I love the simple design and look of the bedskirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely fabric I've been trying to get this bed skirt for quite a while. I bought it in the ivory and decided I wanted white for another bed. It seemed every time I looked for the white, you were out of stock. Finally came back in and I jumped on it. I don't often tell manufacturers their products are "reasonably priced", but after doing some looking for the same product in the same quality, Garnet Hill's supima bed skirt was reasonably priced! In my opinion, an excellent value and excellent quality. The supima fabric is wonderful!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Graceful and gracious I had ordered several other expensive bedskirts before settling on this one. The tucking process was easy and so far has worked well, I love the hemstitching and the quality of the fabric. The bedskirt has plenty of gathering, as pictured, which was not the case with others I had ordered elsewhere. I wasn't crazy about the initial ironing, but with steam it wasn't difficult and once on the bed, I could see that 100% cotton was much richer looking than a blend would have been. This bed skirt does not seem like a bargain initially, but as I am finally satisfied with a bed skirt purchase, I must say that I can finallly stop looking. All my beds will now wear this skirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bed skirt I love this bed skirt. Just the right color and just the right size. I could get a bed skirt cheaper somewhere else, but it would not be the quality that I got from Garnet Hill. Thank you!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I expected I loved the fact that the bedskirt was in three pieces. It made it so easy to press. I used quilting pins to stabilize the skirt on the box spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this bedskirt in the 21" length for a high four poster bed several years ago. This length is often difficult to find, but Garnet Hill has carried it for years. It has survived many washings and lots of moves. It is simplistic, yet slightly embellished with the hemstitch. It still looks as great today as when I purchased it years ago. An excellent basic for your bedding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bedskirt I've owned It is very hard to find an 18" bedskirt for my queen bed. I ordered this several months ago and LOVE it. It washes up great and looks lovely on the bed. It's so nice to have a bedskirt that touches the floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful bedskirt Beautiful fabric, well made, fits really well, more see-through than I had hoped, but saw in the pics so was not surprised. Works well. The fabric is really nice and was easy to iron and drapes nicely. Very pleased!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I expected The fabric and hemstitch detail is very nice. I wish that the gathering was a little fuller, but the catalog photo was accurate. I used spiral upholstery pushpins, because I think making the bed without them would be a problem; the skirt would slip and move. All in all, I got what I expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So soft This is the first time trying this type of dust ruffle. Seems to need adjustment everytime the sheets are changed. But...it is easy to adjust the height, easy to swap dust ruffles. I recomend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful My bed sits high, the 21” height is perfect! The material is fine and soft. This doesn’t go over your box springs, it has a piece that tucks between mattress and box spring and that is the reason for the four stars. Easier to wash, I’m sure, but also requires me to tuck back in when I change my sheets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice bed skirt! I absolutely love this bed skirt! It was super easy to place on the bed as it comes in three pieces. It’s nice to have different length options so as to not have to have something custom made. It is very well made. I gave in only 4 stars because the fabric is a little thin.
Date published: 2020-03-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Crisp Fabric When ironed, the bedskirt is lovely and crisp. The only issue is that the way it is constructed causes it to come out from between the mattress and box springs. I suggest sewing it to a piece of fabric that covers the box spring so that it stays put. Or, Garnet Hill could simply create a one-piece Queen size bedskirt with a 21" drop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality. Elegant bedskirt. Only complaint- didn’t know it was 3 pieces. I used upholstery pins to permanently attach to box springs so it won’t move every time I change the bedding sheets. I do love that I can control the length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A clever design! The jury is still out on this bedskirt. I struggle with it dragging on the floor and need to adjust it almost every time I make the bed. But, I'm not planning to return it as I'm finding I prefer this type of bedskirt vs. the "platform" type. It's much easier for one person to put on the bed! I bought some quilting pins recently and will try pinning the bedskirt panel to the box spring as suggested by others. If this solves the problem, I'll be very happy with the purchase!
Date published: 2018-12-23
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty and nice but... The product is lovely just as it shows. The only problem is that every time you change the sheets the pieces shift...it's not one piece, it is 3 which makes it very difficult to make it uniform/straight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Requires ironing and pins I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing but it would not have changed my mind, just made it easier to handle the bedskirt. Like everything I put on my bed, I washed it first and, like the GH Supima sheets, this came out very wrinkly from the dryer. A lot of steam is required from your iron to fix that. I love the three panels because they are generous in length and easy to adjust as you like. However, I have had difficulty with the bedskirt staying in place when I change the sheets. I will just pin it on as others have suggested; this is really not an uncommon bedskirt problem. I replaced a bedskirt with a platform that also had to be tucked and adjusted occasionally, so I don't think a platform would solve this issue. I am so glad this comes in different heights! I do think it's quite pricey for a bedskirt and with GH offered the same style in a cheaper fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from separate panels? Quite a few years ago, I bought Garnet Hill's bed skirt (very similar). The sun rotted one side (normal) and so I decided to replace it. I was very surprised to find that this is not one continuous piece anymore but three separate panels. It does get the job done and, I must admit, it's a bit more practical, but seems like I paid A LOT for so little fabric (though it is great quality and a nice color). I'd be more sold in this as it but at half the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrific Find I had been searching for something like this for a long time. Finally one in longer lengths! Fabric ironed crisply and is so easy to install - just tuck in. Only thing I wish was that the fabric was a little heavier - as it would better match the weight of the comforter. Please try and expand the line to more colors and in different fabrics, especially linen or matelesse. Worth the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but prettty good As long as you don't expect perfection, this three-panel, adjustable bedskirt is probably as good as most. What I like is the quality of the fabric, the generosity of the fabric, and the 21-inch height--which is extremely difficult to find. But be prepared to constantly fuss with the tucking in order to get a nice balanced draping aesthetic. I'm very surprised that one reviewer complained about the crummy quality of the fabric, because it is beautiful--it has heft AND it is soft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good bedskirt Love how this bedskirt has 3 individual pieces. It has made it very easy to put in place. It does not fall out of place and has required minimum adjustments. The ivory has a more yellow color to it than the neutral that i was expecting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bed skirt, if you’re into that sort of thing This bedskirt was too long/deep for my low-lying bed, which meant that I would need to push the tops of the three pieces toward the center of the box spring, and do so in approximately three long straight lines (one for each piece of the bedskirt), and also get them all evenly fluffed out while attaching them to each other under the mattress. I did go so far as to read all of the (mostly favorable) reviews, and I followed the suggestion of one who said putting the thing in the dryer went a long way to removing the many, many WRINKLES (it did!). Then I got it all sorted out and began shoving it under the mattress. But then I imagined all my feminist friends of several generations looking at me quizzically (the kindest reaction possible), so I pulled the bedskirt away, folded it up clumsily, and took it to UPS. WHAT WAS I THINKING?

what is adjustable about a bedskirt

Asked by: djean
The three panel design allows you to adjust the bed skirt to the length, or drop that works for your bed.

The adjustable bed skirt did not come with any directions or suggestions for keeping it attached to the box spring. Can you please provide more information?

Asked by: Kev4
The 3 flat panels tuck between your mattress and box spring. The skirt should stay in place and only need occasional adjusting. If you need additional information, please call customer service and we will be happy to help you.

Do you have to lift off the mattress in order to put the bedskirt on?

Asked by: Highpockets
You will not have to lift the mattress completely off the bed. Some lifting is needed however to arrange and tuck the bed skirt.

Do you need to adjust the panels each time you make the beds (every morning)?

Asked by: Israel
It has 3 flat panels that tuck between the mattress & box spring keeping the bed skirt in place. You should not have to adjust it each day.

Can I use the hemstitch bedskirt with an adjustable bed? How do the three pieces attach? How will it behave when the bed is raised either at the foot or head? It seems that because it is in three pieces, the skirt move freely.

Asked by: JAPZ
The three pieces of the bed-skirt tuck between the mattress and box-spring so if your mattress and box-spring raise or lower together we think you would be all set.
