Rated 3 out of 5 by MEO12 from Big and Heavy Like everything I have purchased from Garnet Hill, these trousers run big, although if you take your measurements you will see the sizing they tell you to expect is accurate. I would not dare to purchase size 16 pants anywhere else, but these fit fine. I haven’t actually worn them however, because the material is very heavy and seems like it would not be very comfortable in these very hot summer months, expect linen to be cool.

And they are short..i kbow thats the style but short and wide legged osnt a look i like much. High water!. They are reay nice but don't liik good on me

But the real problem was that the buttons were almost impossible to get through the button holes. Once I discovered that they went back in the bag to be returned.

I have very small hips, and based on the measurements shown I ordered a 4 (in the classic linen trousers I take a 2). The pants fit in the waist but were huge in the hips, so I sent them back.

Length is way too long for my 5’3” height and thighs are cut so full they looked like clown pants on me. Last but not least, the buttonholes are so tight on the waist that I couldn’t unbutton the buttons! Pulled the pants up and down without unbuttoning because the buttons were just impossible- how in the world could I ever manage a quick trip to the ladies room?! The fabric, like other GH linen pieces I’ve purchased over the years, is wonderful- please redesign these pants for next year with a slimmer cut and workable button holes!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sandra Ell from Not what I'd hope for The fabric is nice, but the fit is off. The inseam on a size 8 is 29 1/2 inches, and the legs are quite full. I expected at my height of 5'3" these would fit more like full length pants, and I could roll the hem up if I wanted ankle pants. It doesn't look right, because the don't taper at the ankle. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by nb49 from only if you love to iron I followed instructions and washed/dried these pants before wearing. When they went into the washer they were crisp and flat. I just took them out of the dryer just now and they are a wrinkled mess. I know linen is not a synthetic and don't expect perfection but these are unwearable without getting out the iron and board. I wear linen all spring/summer from other companies and never have to use the iron. These look well made and the fabric seems good quality until they are laundered but I don't expect I will ever wear them.
