Smartwool® Women's Spruce Creek Sweater is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy, but nice enough for dinner out I was hesitant to spend the money, but glad I did! I have two other Smartwool sweaters that have lasted for years, so I consider them a good investment. This is a really beautiful sweater that you can dress up or down. I received a ton of compliments the last two times I wore it. Sleeve detail is interesting and fun, but probably not great for a restaurant - I had to flip back the sleeves at the table to keep from dragging in my plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful texture to sweater This is a beautifully textured sweater. The style is comfortable to wear. The wool is not as soft as other Smartwool products though. I sized up to a medium for a more relaxed fit and I am happy that I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and different Haven’t worn yet as it calls for colder weather. Read where someone found it itchy hope not just cozy will do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but... I like Smartwool socks, so I was excited about seeing a sweater with that brand name. But it is too itchy for me, especially around the turtleneck.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not loving it I'd been looking for a warm cozy turtleneck sweater in a great fabric, this color, for months. I like the sweater, hate the sleeves. The split is strange, gets in the way, can't push them up. Not sure what they were thinking. I'm going to keep the sweater and have one of my crafty friends sew up the split sleeves.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh Looks great on model. Got i home and the sleeves are way shorter. Not much to the body I sent it back. Wool was a bit itchy. Couldn’t wear without a long sleeved shirt beneath.

The texture of this sweater is wonderful, but the turtleneck is turned inside out, and it is sewn to stay that way, which is not how it looks in the photo. Is that the way it is supposed to be? Or, can I clip the stitches and turn it right-side out?

Asked by: Molly34
The sweater is sewn that way to keep the turtleneck "standing" up. If you remove the stitching to roll the neck in the usual way, the inside seaming of the sweater will show.
