Gorgeous big hefty dinner plates that are like serving dinner on a piece of art. Big enough to get all of diner on one plate. SO proud to put these out. Have gotten so many nice comments from friends and family.

Beautiful Dishes!
We got the dinner plates, salad plates and bowls in the white and are so pleased with them. We love their handmade organic shape and unique look. They are heavy and very good quality. Great purchase!

Bought the whole set!
I was hesitant to buy plates without seeing and holding them first. I am really glad I bought them. The whole set (12 of each plate sizes and both style bowls) came and not one was broken or chipped! The stoneware feels heavy (but not too heavy) and very well made. I have used in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher and they still look brand new. (The dinner plates have to be loaded in the washer at an angle, but so did my Williams Sonoma plates). The whole family is extremely pleased with these plates and bowls...lots of compliments on them during the holidays.

Beautiful, excellent quality
These plates are so beautiful they look like art. My order arrived quickly and was packed very carefully so there was no damage. I use these plates everyday and love them!

Beautiful plates, but not great customer service
I bought two sets of these plates in May, and absolutely love them! They're beautiful. However, in one set, a plate arrived badly chipped. I've tried several times calling customer service over the last month, and each time someone says they'll leave a message and I'll get a call back. I never have. I understand that plates chip when they ship, and I also understand things are busy - but I now haven't been able to use the plates for a month.

What company manufactures your Sintra stoneware plates? Reason I ask is that I googled Casafina plates, and Sintra plates from Garnet Hill came up as the first search result.
The Sintra Stoneware is a Garnet Hill exclusive.

Are these dishes lead-free?
These are not lead-free but are very close to it. These pass all FDA and CA Prop 65 requirements, which have extremely strict/low limits for lead.

Last time I bought white plates the silverware left gray marks almost impossible to clean off, even with bartenders friend. Replacing themt - stoneware made in Portugal - I need assurance the Sintra plates, the turquoise and the white won't do this.
Our Sintra Stoneware is 100% Hand-thrown stoneware and hand-painted with a reactive glaze. We have not heard any feedback regarding silverware leaving marks on the plates.
