Excellent blanket
I’ve owned this blanket for about a year now and I love it. Lightweight, warm, beautiful, soft, and generously sized. It’s everything you want in a blanket.

elegant and so soft blanket
Bought this due to its beauty-- looks so elegant with the Agnes grey and cream linen quilt, which I am using it with. Very warm and soft, not scratchy like the satin bound wool forerunner that I remember from my childhood. Buying for all my girls.

Very soft and luxurious feeling.
This blanket is a perfect weight for all year long. Not too light as are some cotton blankets but not a heavy weighted blanket, as is the case with wool blankets. Very luxurious to the touch. I love the gray color, paired it with rose color sheets.

Love this blanket
Was feeling a little chilled at night so added this blanket & it is wonderful. Lightweight but warm & so soft!!! It’s gorgeous too. Very happy & I feel money well spent for a quality product.

Dreamy blue
The blue is as gorgeous in person as it is in the picture. I haven't used it yet, but plan to put it on the bed with the Highline flannel sheets, with which it coordinates perfectly. I only wish it was washable.

Based on the sizes, would the queen have sufficient overhang and be able to be tucked under the mattress at the foot of the bed or should I order a king to fit my queen bed?
That would depend on how deep your mattress is. A standard queen mattress is 60" x 80" and this blanket in the Double/Queen is 88" x 88" and in the King is 106" x 92".

No, this blanket is not machine washable. It is Dry Clean only.

The color pictured with the Ada Paisley Quilt is Taupe and picks up on a taupe color in the print.

What color is the blue. Would it match Eileen Fisher wave washed silk bedspread in blue Nile?
The Silk & Cotton Blanket in Blue is similar to Blue Slate. The Nile Blue of the Eileen FIsher Wave Washed Silk Quilt is more of a bright blue/teal color. We would not recommend the two colors together.

How wide is the band on the blanket? What is it made of? is it returnable if I do not like it?
colors all look different from description... "blue" looks like aqua, "grey" looks like taupe, and "taupe" a toast color> Is it my monitor, or are the descriptions bad, or the colors poorly photographed?
Are you really unable to wash these blankets? Even on cool delicate cycle? Says dry clean only.
