Rated 5 out of 5 by Highlander2 from Very happy with this versatile duvet I purchased this for our mountain getaway and I'm delighted with it. The sage version is a lovely color, brightens the room yet think it will be forgiving of grandchildren. A bonus (in my opinion) is that it lays well and looks very nice as a simple bedspread - I'll put the duvet in it when the weather cools down. It is not the soft fluffy flannel of your favorite shirt, but to me, that is not a bad thing.

The material felt stiff without the usual brushed softness I was looking for. But I washed it twice and it fluffed right up! It's cozy without being too hot or heavy for southern California winter nights. Plus - - the colors, while muted, are bold and beautiful. Even my husband said: Wow! My only complaint is the same as another customer's: a button fell off immediately, even before the wash. Otherwise, love this set. Just bought two pillowcases to match.

It is not as lofty as expected but I suspect it will get softer in time? My criticism is that one of the buttons fell off in the very first washing
