Regarding the Sgnature Down-Top Featherbed: What type of feathers are in the bottom fill? Where are the goose down & feathers from and what are the dimensions and weight of each bed size you offer? There is a tag to indicate the top side? Thank you!
The dimensions for each size can be found in the "Product Details" for this item on our web site. The bottom is 5% white goose down and 95%white goose feathers. This is made in the USA with down from China and Taiwan.

Has anyone used the King on a Cal King and turn it sideways? Does the extra couple inches become a problem with sheets?
We checked with our product experts and they feel turning the topper will make it ill fitting and difficult to tuck the sheets.

I have read reviews. Garnet Hill Signature Featherbed Topper has NO ANCHOR BANDS. How can you guarantee me this will not slip and slide? I find that a big hassle. They say the deep queen size fitted sheet will hold topper in place. I may be unhappy.

Best Purchase Ever!
I've had this for at least 15 years and sleep like a dream, feel sorry for myself whenever I have to travel. Works out to 5 cents per night, excellent value. Every quarter or so, we fluff it, flip it or spin it to restore even distribution of the feathers. We recommend whole heartedly, along with Garnet Hill sheets, down pillows, blankets. GH our go-to for all bedding needs.

Heaven… on Earth!
Exceeded expectations. Gorgeous craftsmanship and luxurious comfort. I’m a side sleeper. Just purchased an extra firm mattress which is essential for my back when laying flat. Pillow top additions didn’t work. Now with this featherbed, I’m sleeping like a baby.

One of the good onesc
Surprisingly heavy, but the good ones always seem to be. Gives us the coziness we wanted atop our old-but-still-firm spring mattress. We shake it to fluff weekly, rotate approx monthly.

Better than the Quince side by side test
We purchased this and the Quince feather bed. Both were dual layer of down on top, feathers on bottom. The Quince had 650 power fill vs Garnet Hill using 550 power fill, so we thought the Quince might be better. The Garnet Hill arrived first. It had a lot of loft when we put it on. We slept great on it. Even the nights after, after it had compacted, it felt wonderful. When compacted it felt more like what you get in many luxury hotels. When the Quince came, I started to pull it out and it was filled way less than the Garnet Hill. It was thinner, had smaller gussets, and felt flat even after fluffing. So we never even slept on the other. Garner hill has been so wonderful. Two months in, and it is great both fluffed and compacted.

This is the featherbed you are looking for
This down topper is amazing. I had wanted a featherbed for a long time but was worried about feathers poking through or it falling too flat. A lot of products I looked at had negative reviews and I didn’t want to waste my money. This topper is exactly what I was hoping for. The feathers never poke through and it never goes completely flat. I’m alway laying on a layer of feathers. The way this topper cradles my body makes me feel like I’m drifting off to sleep on a cloud. I don’t typically write reviews but I love this topper. I never wake up achy and I think I’m sleeping better.

This feather mattress topper is wonderful! It is well made. Sleeping on it is great - soft without feeling any feather spines. Almost didn’t want to get up the next morning!
