Love the high waisted bottoms. They run huge
Bought the16 tankini top (usually wear a 14) and the fit and compression was perfect. Also bought the 16 high waisted bottoms and they were huge. Returned them for a 12 to get a fit that matched the top. The bottoms ran super big at my normal size and had zero support or compression. Much better at 2 sizes down.

Comfortable and covering
I bought this to go with the high neck bikini top and I’m glad I did. The swim bottom has held up well after several trips to the pool. I wash on delicate and air dry as needed and it still looks new. The ruching has s slimming and the high waist covers my muffin top. This year is the first time
I’ve purchased a swimsuit from Garnet Hill and I’ve been very pleased. Both the top and bottom have held up well to normal use. The quality is great and also looks and feels like quality - and is very comfortable. :)

Perfect & unique!!
I purchase both the high-waisted bikini bottom and the tankini top. While I normally wear a 12 in most Garnet Hill clothes ~ the size 10 bottom fit much better ~ so for me I had to size down. The suit is very well made. The material is soft and very comfortable. I love the design ~ it is tropical, fun and hides my "flaws". Very flattering indeed!!
I am 66 yrs old but want to feel good & look good in what I wear.

I am a curvy woman who usually wears a one piece. I wanted to try a 2 piece and this one fit the bill. It is very flattering even for a bigger woman. I may actually wear in public! The different designs and colors were appealing and different than the suits you see on everyone else.

This is the suit I've been waiting for--stylish, and flattering to a mature figure. Paired this high-waisted bottom with the Ruched Bandeau top, which makes an excellent combo. The ruching on the bottom is very forgiving, it hits above the waist, avoiding muffin top, and visually lengthens the torso. The Bandeau top hides an underwire, gives nice lift and shaping, but seems reasonably comfortable. I'm short and busty (5'2" 36C) and went with an 8 bottom, and 10 top. Could have managed with one size smaller on each, but avoiding bulges. Pleased with the solid navy-- highlights the suit's structure, and minimizes what lies beneath.

Great material, color and fit
This is the first bikini suit I've purchased in 10 years. I typically wear swim skirt or swim shorts. The fit of this bikini bottom is terrific. I'm 5'6 135. I purchased a medium and the fit is very comfortable and remarkably flattering.

Pretty suit
The top is a hard to find perfect fit. It supports but still has a natural look and feel. It can be worn without the strap and still stays in place. The bottom is very nice. I do wish it had just a little control but works fine and can be adjusted to expose more for sunning.

I bought the High Waisted Bikini top and bottom. I am a 5'6" and 155ilbs. I usually have to order a smaller top and one size bigger bottom but this suit runs a little big. I had to exchange the size 10 for the size 8 bottom. It fits great. I got a size 8 top as well.

Cute and Extra Cute
Adorable suit, well made. I purchased the smallest size and both top and bottom were a little lg, I am 5'5" and 106lbs, 63 yrs. young. But this suit provided style along with modesty. Nothin' is hanging out 2 scare people. I will remove the pads in top as I personally don't care for those. Would buy another.

I LOVE this swimsuit. The fabric is beautiful and soft. The colors are vibrant and clear. I’m 56 years, 5’9” and 153 lbs. I wear between a size 8 & 10 for bathing suits and clothes - depends on the cut. I wear a 38C bra. I’m glad I ordered the 10 bottom in the skirted bottom but could have easily used the 8 in the high waisted bottom as it’s roomy. I did take the recommendation for the camisole top and ordered the size 12. For the bandeau, I ordered the 10. Everything fits well. I’ve had great luck with garnet hill bathing suits.

Truly beautiful with great fit.
This is a wonderful bathing suit, especially for someone who may be less comfortable with a more typically low-waisted bikini bottom. The high waist allows the ruched tankini top to cover fully. The fabric is soft with just the right amount of stretch and the pattern (I got the patchwork paisley) is beautiful. I'm in my late 60s, size 4, and the fit was excellent including during active swimming.

Fit appears to be good.
I think it will be great if I ever get the top I ordered to go with it! I tried it on and fit seems to be good but I have not actually worn it yet. I hope the top arrives before the predicted date. I ordered down a size as suggested by other reviewers.

I ordered the size 8 in the ruched retro brief and the leg openings in the backside area are very loose fitting. I’m wondering if I sized down would the problem be the same or would fit better?
This retro style suit is meant to be worn high on the waist - above the belly button. If the size 8 leg opening is too large, we suggest sizing down.
