Recycled-Cashmere Twist-Front Sweater is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This sweater is absolutely gorgeous! Better than expected! I bought one of each color and both are beautiful. I'm petite, so I got the XS. Have no problem with them being bulky. Love the fact that you can wear only a tank or either a long sleeve t-shirt underneath depending on the weather. Plan to wear with slim pants. Thanks Garnet Hill!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. It's light in weight, warm, and suits my body shape remarkably well. I am rather skinny and straight up down. Shoulders wider than hips. Think coat hanger. It took some fiddling, but figured out the drape. I wear black turtleneck and black slim slacks underneath, and it looks quite chic yet comfortable. It's very easy and warm to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this sweater! I totally disagree with the two previous reviews. I love this sweater! It is very flattering and fits well. It isn't bulky at all and lays very nicely. I have put it over a long sleeved dress at work and over a turtle neck with jeans for casual wear. It is soft and comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality I consider myself a cashmere snob, it’s all about the quality! This sweater did not disappoint, Sadly I am a petite and felt the cut was too large for me. But it is lovely in person!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me Did not fit me well and did not like how I looked in the sweater. Exchanged for one I live

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs very large. This is a beautiful soft sweater that runs extremely large. I usually wear a large and that’s what I bought. I was overpowered by the amount of fabric so I had to send it back. I think that even a medium would have been too large. I wish I could have kept it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for tall woman Need to be tall....above 5’8 to wear this and flat chested. It is a beautiful piece but not for us busty, shorter women.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color ok, hard to style Catalog photos are sometimes difficult to determine color. I was thinking this twist sweater would be more of an olive brown, but it’s not. The twist part bulges out a bit. One definitely has to work with the sweater for it to lay properly. I could have made it work, but it was best to return and exchange for a cashmere wrap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite Love the feel of the knit but not loving the style on me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Undecided I love cross front tops, the twist on this is very bulky even in the smallest size. The olive color is lovely, it’s very soft. My boyfriend liked it but I’m undecided as the twist sticks out so much/ not very flattering or easy to flatten, fine for being cozy at home... maybe if there was less material and it was shorter in length it might be much more flattering.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So wanted to love this sweater, but This sweater feels wonderful, and the olive color is gorgeous. It's lightweight. Only problem is the fit is so bizarre. I ordered a large (I'm a 14/16) and it hangs with the front twist high on the chest, exposing my rather amble stomach. (Not at all as it hangs on the skinny models). It kind of looks like a drapey olive green bra, and that I'm hatching an egg. I tried draping it various ways, but it always pops back to that very unattractive look. Sorry to send it back, because I love the recycled aspect and the color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Epic Fail This looked so promising online. What I didn't realize until now is that they don't show a side view for a very good reason....it makes you look like you are wearing a baby papoose carrier. Much too much bulk. Not flattering. I am thin and it makes me look heavy. A waster of shipping costs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted To Love Sorry GH, this sweater looks great online and in catalogs but I couldn't get it to fold over right to make it attractive. Tried to layer it like the pics-- you should provide instructions. If I could make it look as pictured it would have been a keeper. But the folds looked lumpy and fell weirdly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible This sweater was nothing like what was pictured It was very difficult to get into it and when I did it was much shorter than I expected

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Re-cycled Vashmetr twist front sweater The overall structure of the garment was Very unflattering fit. A less bulky material should have been use, the back hem would have been appealing as a drop hem, and the sleeves were all wrong.

no description of "re-cycled cashmere." what is it, how is it re-cycled, and how does it differ from usual GH cashmere?

Asked by: achbrown
Garnet Hill recycled cashmere is made from remnants and fibers reclaimed as new sweaters are produced. This process requires less water and energy than raw cashmere. No pre-owned garments are used.

What is recycled cashmere? Why is it recycled--what does this mean? So, the cashmere comes from Mongolia, and the garment is made in China- is that correct. Or...? Where does the recycled cashmere come from?
