Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Fresh Thank you GH! Love these colors and designs. It's airy, bright and uplifting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves it! I was worried about buying the real linen linens because my husband is not big on change. But I put them on the bed, said nothing, thinking he might not notice. As I got into bed he asked "When did you get these sheets?" Uh oh - too late at night for silliness. But to my surprise he said "I love them!" He was talking about the deep coral colored ones. But he liked them so much I bought the pastel floral pattern as well. PS I love them too. They feel almost flannel like but don't heat up the bed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me. I feel a bit like the princess and the pea. The sheets are beautiful but I can't get used to the feel of sleeping on scratchy linen. I've washed them several times in the hope that they would soften up but after several sleepless nights of the feel of sleeping on canvas, I think I have to return them. They are too $$ to find their way to the very back of the linen closet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost... Offered this as a gift. Liked the flinen fabric being and the paint splotches design, Unfortunately, i hoped the red blobs were closer to orange/sienna but the red looked like watery blood spots. Not what I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not happy Bought these sheets 1 month ago and have washed about 10 times in an effort to soften them enough to sleep on. Still too rough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice print but otherwise awful I ordered these sheets in May hoping to stay cool and comfortable without AC. The print is lovely and looks great in my bedroom, but otherwise these sheets leave much to be desired: 1. The sizing will only work with a gigantic thick mattress. My mattress is 12" thick, and the sheets are huge. The bottom sheet has elastic all the way around, but it isn't tight enough to prevent the sheet from bunching up underneath my husband and me as we sleep, which we both find very uncomfortable. The top sheet is a foot wider than the Dream Quilt I got to go with them. Now that I've washed them enough that any shrinkage should have occurred, I'm considering cutting the top sheet down and re-hemming one side -- just not sure I like them well enough to make that effort. (If you are making wider sheets to fit thicker mattresses, why aren't the quilts similarly wider?) Garnet Hill needs to take a hint from other manufacturers, and start making separate size sheets for thick and thin mattresses. 2. They are very scratchy. I've washed them at least 10 times, and can't tell that they've softened up at all. It's like sleeping on burlap. I'm going to try fabric softener, which I don't normally like to use because it is harmful to front-loading washers. (Interestingly, the solid relaxed linen pillowcase I got to coordinate seem to have softened up a good deal -- something in the printing process must make these extra scratchy.) 3. They give off lint like crazy. The lint filter in my dryer is coated a half-inch thick after each washing, and little linen dust bunnies are taking over my bedroom despite twice-a-week vacuuming.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unbelievably Awful! I bought the duvet cover, fitted sheet & shams 6 months ago, hoping to delight my way out of both the winter and the pandemic. I've previously owned & loved linen clothing that got softer with each wearing and withstood decades of travel crumplings, hotel basin wringing and emergency hot iron abuse. I love the hand, drape, color saturation and temperature-regulating properties of these beloved items, not to mention how luxurious I felt in them. Enter GH linen sheets in the beautiful prairie print. I've tried SO hard to love them! Washed 20 times (at least! - I throw them in every time I wash lights) and put them on the bed (they're gorgeous) half a dozen times. And each and every time, I've torn them off in the early morning, desperate for something soothing. The scratchiness is unrelenting, even after all those washes! It's like sleeping on light weight burlap, something I could easily do for a lot less money than these sheets cost! I can't understand how others could even sleep on these "linens," much less say they were soft. What accounts for this huge discrepancy? Are mine simply defective? Should I exchange? Or is it an inherently cheap kind of linen that will never age well? I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! (can you tell?)

After reading the first review, I have hesitated on purchasing. My concern as well was whether the flowers were of a rusty orangey hue and not pinkish or red. Perhaps there was a dye lot variance, or digital/ computer color distortion?

Asked by: Kimberlina

Which color(s) from relaxed linen collection go best with the Prairie Floral pattern? In oranges, I think Smoky Coral goes best, but in blues, am not sure. Is Washed Indigo too dark? I prefer Tourmaline blue, but does it match any blue in Prairie Floral?

Asked by: CarolynB

I can't tell whether there is grey in the design of the prairie floral or blue? Thanks for any help.
