Organic-Cotton Utility Trench Coat is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable! A very nice coat that is surprisingly soft! A great choice for spring and autumn!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love everything about coat The quality is great...fabric makes coat wearable more often throughout the year...color carbon goes with everything and glad it's not the usual black, not color you see a lot. Length is one that will keep you dry when it rains. I was really happy with item and glad I made purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great organic cotton coat! I really like this soft organic cotton coat. It is quite versatile as it can be more casual or be semi-dressy. I prefer a looser fit so I bought a size up which was perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat This is exactly what I was looking for. It is more of a charcoal vs. black. It didn't come in petite so I was worried but the sleeves are not terribly long and look cute rolled up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fit and soft feel! Perfect over a suit with a dressy scarf or dressed down with a sweatshirt and jeans. Love my new spring coat - true to size, just needs a good iron on arrival!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Versatile! Bought the Khaki color trench last spring and loved it so much I bought the black this year. Did buy a size up to wear a sweater under it. Also, cuff the sleeves. Great look for runnning aound in jeans or dressing up a bit. I travel with it too. Very light and comfortable. Repels water enough to wear when the weather is uncertain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great style Love it Went with the recommendation to size up to wear with a sweater under. Also used the discount offered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic The clean and classic lines of this trench coat make it a favorite. The organic cotton is soft yet has enough body to have a wonderful drape. I especially like that it can move from day to night with just the right accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Choice I ordered the coat for my daughter for her birthday. She loved the length, cut and color. She said it was going to be her "go to" coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cargo utility jacket review So pleased with this coat I debated for weeks ordering it but I'm so glad I did. It came packaged very wrinkled it has taking forever to steam the wrinkles out of it but this is an awesome jacket in every aspect it is more than I had hoped for I wear with jeans brown boots it is perfect for spring fall and not too cold Winters make sure you order a size that you can wear a sweater or a hoodie under it so that it's not too snug. It's just a beautiful quote I recommend it highly and it's worth every penny. I'm very particular as you can tell

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Spring I am very happy I finally bought this trench coat!!! I went back and forth on it for quite some time. It has been just the right weight for the cool, rainy spring and fits over a sweater or jacket.(I usually wear a 12 but bought the 14 for that reason and I am glad I did) I love that it is cotton but repeals the rain. I have been caught in a downpour more than once. The only issue I have is the sleeves are long on me and it was very wrinkled when it arrived in the mail. The wrinkles are slowly falling out with wear I personally don't like the wrinkle look with my coats/outwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Look With Everything I love this coat!! It's everything I thought it would be. Fits true to size! Looks great with everything! Lightweight yet warm enough for those still chilly spring days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spring Trench Sorry I had to return this coat - the sleeves were too short - but, did love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from distinctive style for a chilly day I purchased this coat a few months ago - it's still very cold out so haven't had a chance to wear it. I've tried it on with leggings, boots - I think it is adorable and functional. I purchased the charcoal color and I particularly like the interesting button details on the front and back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted! This coat is just what I wanted - a light weight, coat that will fit over work clothes. The longer panels in front are flattering to me. I am busty, and gives a longer line. I haven't worn it yet in rain or mist so I don't know how it will hold up. The fabric is soft with a nice feel. I do need to iron it before I wear it. I am happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trench Coat Just what I have been looking for. Very flattering. I really like the soft fabric. The color is light, I hope I can keep it clean. Have worn it several times but it has yet to be rained on. Looks great with a pair of jeans as well as dress pants. I did order up one size and am glad I did. Perfect with a blouse or top underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So smart! I'll admit, I have a thing for jackets and this new trench coat has been a great addition. It is well-made, fits well, not bulky or heavy. I have long arms and so I was a bit surprised that I have to roll back the sleeves to make them fit me. It's not a distraction tho and looks like I've just personalized the way I like to wear it. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smallish in arms I really like this trench and went with the size 10 for long sleeves and sweaters. It's a little big everywhere except for the arms. I don't have pylon arms either, in fact they're toned. Hmm. Oh well, I'll keep it and work em out some more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice versatile coat This little utility trench coat is exactly as described. It will be a nice addition to my New England spring coat challenges. Well made, it fits nicely and looks smart. As others have noted, it arrives somewhat wrinkled.
Date published: 2019-03-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good transitional raincoat Roomy, comfy, with a more ‘au courant’ look than my ancient Burberry. That said, the fabric is v wrinkly so it imparts a look more rumpled than I had hoped for. A weekend look.
Date published: 2018-12-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light spring coat I love the fit, color and style. My only issue is the fabric wrinkles very easily and I feel the fabric should have a bit more structure. Otherwise love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks a little different than in a photo The coat came fast, well packaged. I had to steam it, it wrinkles very easily. The color is very light. I thought looking at the photo that it is going to be a little darker. The material is nice but a little thin for a trench coat. Overall I was looking for a summer/late spring rain coat. It will work for me. I am 5.6, 155 pounds, usually wear size 8 or 10 in other brands. I had to buy size 12 of this coat. It fits well. The sleeves are long, but fold nicely.
Date published: 2018-04-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from dislike lining-Everything else is great! love the look and feel of the coat but wish the lining was a material that was alittle more slick/slippery. It tends to stick to clothes and then ride up your butt and back so it doesn't always hang that great. Other than that love the look and feel. Alittle pricey but I don't buy rain/trench coats very often and usually keep for a longer time than other clothes

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice styling The beltless detail got my attention at first and the styling is as described. However, this may be the characteristic of organic cotton, but it was so wrinkled when I received it that I had to iron it. Wrinkles were very hard to release, and I will need to have it professionally pressed. I am thinking that sitting in the car may set in even more wrinkles. If so, I will return the garment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this coat, with some reservations I bought this coat pretty recently and wore it on a weekend when I was walking a lot. I got the black, which is a dark grayish color, almost charcoal Positives: the style and length are great. I like the exterior fabric. The weight is perfect--pretty lightweight. Negative: The lining is a soft cotton fabric, and I think because of this, the coat doesn't drape well. It seems to stick to my pants, and clings to them while I am walking. I spent a lot of time straightening it out.
Date published: 2018-04-01
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice coat but not for me. I read the other reviews and thought the coat would work. I just didn't feel the quality of the coat warranted the price.
Date published: 2018-03-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fabric I’m not sure how water repellant it is but the fabric is soft. I think it runs small so order up.
Date published: 2018-03-06
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good I guess I didn't know what "organic cotton with peached finish" meant. It gives the jacket a soft feel. I expected it to feel like a regular raincoat material, however, the cut and fit is great. Very comfortable and the pockets are in the right place. Great with jeans or a skirt. Yup, it's a keeper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice style Nice style but very wrinkled. Also lining was cotton. Shirts bunched up in sleeves.
Date published: 2019-05-05
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed thoughts I loved the style but the fabric was not treated to be water repellent at all so it kinda defeated the point in my mind.

Tell me more about the water-resistant coating. Most use PFOA or formaldehyde, which are toxic chemicals. Is it just polyurethane? Nothing else? It's not wonderful, but it's better than may alternatives. Thanks.

Asked by: Papertiger
The water resistant coating is polyurethane.

What is the fit like at the shoulders?

Asked by: Concrete Girl
The bust measurement online should give you some idea as to how the shoulders fit. We would compare those measurements with a jacket you already have.

Description says knee length. Pictures looks much shorter, mid thigh?

Asked by: Amy26
The coat is knee length. The way the model is standing shortens the length of the coat.
