Easy going
I have 3 of these dresses now, easy wash, substantial cotton knit holds its shape. Minimal shrinkage w cold water, tumble damp, finish drying on a hanger. Casual but smart looking and can be changed up with a wide array of accessories.

Perfect 3 season dress
The color, weight, fabric, length, pockets, neckline and style of this dress make it a wardrobe essential. It goes great layered with leggings and a light cardigan in cooler transition between seasons and all by itself in warmer weather. The organic cotton fabric makes it just right. I will be purchasing it in another color.

Pleasantly surprised
For Mother's Day my daughter gave me this dress in black. When I previously saw it on Garnet Hill's web site, I did not give it a second thought due its 3/4 sleeves and loose structure. In the past I have tried on similar dresses, but they were never flattering on my 5'1" body -- the sleeves were too long and the loose fit made me look boxy and chunky, but NOT this dress! I wear a size 6 in most brands, and the size 6 in this dress fits me. Although the dress is a looser fit on me, it looks great and stylish. The 3/4 sleeves are a bit too long, but I rolled them up to form cuffs which I think gives the dress a more polished look. The dress is longer on me than on the model, but I am 66 and prefer a longer length. It pairs beautifully with a couple of my necklaces or with a beautiful handmade pin I had previously purchased. I like how the dress is versatile and all-season. This summer I will be able to wear it with sandals or flip flops, and in the winter, because of its mid-weight knit, I will be able to wear it with dark nylons/tights. Prior to wearing, I washed it on cold delicate, tumble dried it on low for a little bit, and then hung it to dry completely. It did not need ironing and did not shrink.

Great "Go To" Dress
I have this dress in Tandoori Spice and Heather Ash Stripe. I love them both! They're roomy enough to be comfortable without looking baggy and can be worn in summer with bare legs or in colder weather with sweaters and leggings. The pockets are a nice touch, also.

I ordered the Navy and the color looks great. I have washed it twice and it hasn't faded and it also gets softer with every wash! I love the pockets too. Nice casual dress. I wear it with a jean jacket and a long necklace I ordered from GH.

Best dress ever
I have had this dress for a bit, but needed to say how much I love it. The weight of the fabric is perfect, the stripes are flattering, and the combination of sleeves and pockets make this a great everyday dress and a comfortable travel garment. Also, I feel like I am in Paris when I where it.

Simple perfect casual dress
Really nice mid weight cotton fabric; the navy stripe is picture perfect. I went by the dimensions given and the fit is close but not tight and very cute with the pockets. Looking forward to warmer weather to wear with white sandals or flip flops.

I have it in both black and the red color. Wish it came in more solid colors since I am not a “stripes person”. I bought the next size up since I thought it ran a little small. But great fit and comfort and holds its shape. Really like it.

Great all purpose dress
Love this simple cotton dress I bought recently. I’ve only worn it once so far, but it slips on easily, is comfortable & unpretentious, great for everyday or easily dressed up with accessories for dressier occasions. It looks equally good with various styles of belts, scarves, beads, etc. I like that it is not miniskirt length but hem hits at mid knee or slightly higher, so it’s not too revealing for 68 year old me. Looked equally great on my 37 yr old daughter.

Comfortable and attractive dress
I bought this dress about one month ago and absolutely love it! It fits perfectly and is a good weight so I can wear it from fall through spring. The cotton fabric may be a little heavy for summer. I bought the rust color but would buy another one if they start making it in another solid color. I am 5'6, 128 lbs., and usually wear a 6 or 8, and I am very pleased with the fit.

Cute and comfy
I'm 5'2", 107 pounds, 32D chest, pear shape and ordered this dress in size 4. It fit well through the shoulders and chest, flared enough to not hang on my hips, but was longer on me than shown on the model (go figure ;). It came down to the top/just above the middle of my knee. I figured I'd give it a wash and see what happens before taking it to the seamstress. It shrank about 1 and 1/2 inches in length (I did not put it in the dryer), which was great. The rest of the dress felt about the same (didn't shrink in the width). It's a cute dress that can be dressed up or down. I like the pockets, but will say the way they are designed makes them somewhat....useless. They are shallow and at an angle that makes it so that you can not put anything in them without fear it will fall out. They are good to put your hands in, but not items (phone, money, etc). It is a cute feature though. I like it and do recommend.

Versatile Dress
I purchased four of this dress...solids, and stripes. The fabric is quality and washes well. It holds its shape all day. The cut is flattering -- not to tight or loose. Great pockets and flattering neckline.

Love this dress go up a size
This is the 2nd black dress I have owned as now I have a goof off one and a new one. You can dress it up or down. It is not an upscale dress but a good workhorse in your wardrobe and I like it with footless tights.

Love love love this dress!
Love love love this dress! I purchased this dress to wear over leggings and light turtleneck for cooler days here in Virginia. It is perfect for going out or just hanging around the house. I love the soft comfort of the fabric which gives in all the right places and does not get baggy in all the wrong areas. You can’t go wrong with this choice .

What does this mean: "The solid/stripe dress fabric content is 48% Organic Pima Cotton, 48% Tencel and 4% Spandex"? The description says 100% cotton!
