Long Cotton Tunic is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile tunic I ordered this in the navy plaid and predict I'll get a lot of wear out of it in years to come-- it's great layered or on its own. The fabric seems durable yet soft thus far, and I like how the style is tailored a bit-- can be dressed up or down. It does seem a little small in the upper half; I usually wear a size 6 but ordered a size up (8) and am glad I did. I highly recommend this tunic... especially if you can get it on sale!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sporty look This is for average and tall women due to the LONG length. Makes an ordinary shirt more stylish and will be perfect with skinny legged jeans or leggings. About the tight shoulder issue mentioned in other reviews. I ordered my regular size and found it to fit. I have narrow shoulders and an average size bust. The cut may be a deal breaker for those who have broad shoulders and/or large bust. The gray check shirt is made from a lightweight cotton flannel. I plan to layer it with a long sleeved tee shirt. A sporty look for fall and winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic So many options with a classic white button down shirt. I get a lot of wear out of this shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from size up!! i am between sizes and ordered the larger size. This was before the website suggested ordering up. i am busty and the shirt was snug-wouldn't last thru one wash as cotton flannel does shrink and the look is supposed to be oversized. so busty and curvy gals-order up 2 sizes. otherwise the flannel is a nice weight and quality-not worth full-price but ok on sale. as mentioned before, petite gals should pass this one up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Odd fit, runs small I was really looking forward to having this 100% organic cotton tunic for my trips northward this fall. However, GH sizing seems to have changed. As others have noted, there is not much wiggle room in the chest and shoulders area. And although the photos make this appear to have an hourglass-like shape, mine was pretty much straight up and down. I expected to wear this with leggings, but at 5'9", my hips would have shown via the side slits. (I didn't measure the length, but I'm sure it's not 32-33" as written for the measurements for size 14.) I do not wear leggings as pants, as for me, they are footless tights. I decided not to exchange for a size up, as that size would shrink in the laundry, and probably fit just as this one does. Also, I am disappointed that the flannel is quite a bit thinner than it used to be on GH garments. What has happened to Garnet Hill clothing?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice quality/ restricting fit I had a similar experience to other reviewers. The tunic seemed to fit as long as arms were at my side. Reaching forward caused an uncomfortable pull across the back. The paisley fabric was very attractive and soft. Sorry to have to return.

From the Measurements chart, this shirt appears to run large. Should we order down in size?

Asked by: sabh63
Do NOT order down a size. In fact, order 1-2 sizes up. This runs small in the chest and shoulders. For verification, read the reviews. I ordered 1 size up, and it just fit, allowing no room for shrinkage in the dryer. (100% cotton.)
