Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful headboard I have put off buying this for a long time, but finally decided to do it when Garnet Hill offered it on sale. I bought the white and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It looks like an antique, and the quality really shows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kensington Iron Bed I bought this bed to replace a full size antique bed that I had and wanted something that would still hold true to the room it is in. The craftsmanship is incredible and substantial and the instructions for putting it together were easy to follow. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful beds! I am very pleased with the purchase of the Kensington Iron Beds. We purchased 2 of the twin beds for our young daughters shared bedroom. They look like well preserved heirlooms passed down in the family. They would work with a variety of decors. I really appreciated the fact that they are made in the USA.

Will a trundle bed fit under the queen sized Kensington bed?  I would like to use it in a guest room for a couple and their child.

Asked by: AMCQ
We don't suggest putting a trundle under the queen sized Kensington bed as it is only 7.5" from floor to bottom of frame. The queen and king sizes also have a center support.

Regarding the free standing metal support for the mattress/box spring, can a person replace this system with wooden slats?

Most quality beds do not use this metal support system, as it is visible and makes the bed look like it has four legs. Would there be any way to convert this bed into one that uses wooden slats? Thank you for your time researching this.
Asked by: LaLaLa
No, it cannot be replaced with wooden slats.

We have the daybed with trundle but there are no instructions. How does trundle connect to daybed?

Asked by: Denzerburg
The trundle does not attach to the daybed. It is free standing so it can be rolled under the bed when not in use.

With a standard box spring, what is the drop for a bedskirt? 14 or 18 inches?

Asked by: Pomonkey
Boxsprings average from 8" to 12" deep. Determing what length bedskirt you need depends on how high your boxspring sits on the bedframe. As bedrames vary in height, you would need to measure from the top of the boxspring, once placed on the bedframe, to the floor to determine which length is required.

Do the Daybed and its trundle each accommodate a twin mattress? Does the trundle "pop-up"?

Asked by: Zinc
The twin size daybed with trundle accommodates standard size twin mattresses. The trundle unit pops up to the same height as the link spring on the daybed.
