The colors are not too bright and the weight of the fabric is prefect for summer temperatures. The quilts soft and drapey--not stiff and from the minute we put it on the bed , it looked like it always belonged there. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CathB from STUNNING QUILT I recieved my order and upon opening the box I was very pleased that the king-sized quilt, which if you have a queen-sized bed get the king so it will drape along the sides, did not have any horrible odors (like some other reviewers had mentioned). I washed and dried it before using and all of the stitching held secure, plus it didn't shrink much at all. Also the colors of this quilt are soft and muted, the perfect "washed-out" shabby chic/country cottage look. I could not be more pleased because I have been on the hunt for a pieced, and not printed, quilt and this is the ONE! This Homestead Pieced Quilt is one of my all time favorite purchases and would highly recommend it.
