The internal ties hold my duvet insert until the next washing, and the sizing is perfect (to the millimeter). The finished edges are great, and the bottom button closure can't be seen at all (it's on the underside). I searched all possible options for 100% hemp duvet, and I am SO pleased that I went with this one.

One caveat: Even though I washed it before using, the insides--particularly, the area around the ties-- shed so much that it looked like it had snowed on my bed before I was finished. Lots of lint rolling and vacuuming, and I fear more of the same when I wash it again.
