Garnet Hill Signature White Down Comforter is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great option for lightweight warmth I started with the medium weight Signature down comforter and needed to change to the light one. I live in a cold climate and was too warm even during the polar vortex. Garnet Hill handled the exchange easily, and now I’m very comfortable sleeping under this light-as-a-cloud duvet. I purchased a Garnet Hill percale cover, and, together it works great. Very nice quality, and now I’m comfortable sleeping with my window open this spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fluffy, lightweight, warm This is a super nice purchase and we love curling up under it this winter. It’s not too hot but keeps you warm without being covered with heavy blankets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent duvet This is the second down comforter I've purchased from Garnet Hill and I'm just as pleased as I was with the first one. It fits the bed, it's warm and very nicely designed. I couldn't be more pleased.

What weight would you recommend for a dorm room in Boston? Not sure how well the heat works and also need something that can be used for all three seasons, so we're looking for something warm but also versatile. Thanks!

Asked by: hpham
The perfect weight would depend both on climate and a person's body temperature while sleeping. All of our down or down alternative comforters are ideal for 4 season use.

Why are the king sized duvet covers only 101x86 but the King sized comforters 104x86?

Asked by: 18cam
The difference in measurement allows the duvet to be filled, not loose inside.

I'm undecided.  It's between "down alternative" and this European "white down".  Is your white down product responsibly sourced?

Asked by: hollyt
Our white down product is responsibly sourced.

How do you determine the weight to order?

We live part of year in Maine (May - Oct) and winter in Washington DC, so what weight works for what room temperatures? Also how heavy are these?
Asked by: frances7
The medium weight would be good for year round use. The comforter weighs 5.55 to 9.84 lbs depending the size.
