Warm but not too warm
I love it! It’s long enough to hang over the edge of the bed, and the material is high quality.

Down alternative quilt
Love down alternative and this keeps me toasty warm. The quilt I had before this one tore and I was always finding feathers and down blowing about. Not any more. Excellent product.

nice comforter but very warm
This is a quality comforter. I like everything about it except that it is definitely not an all season comforter. I am always cold as I am very thin and I am hot most nights with this comforter. It's maybe not quite as hot as a heavy down comforter, but since the fall temperatures have dropped( Mid Atlantic area, not the south) I wake up in a sweat. I guess I will not have to swap it out with my heavier comforter when we have true winter temperatures.BTW, I turn the thermostat down to 60 at night .

Down alternative all season
This is pretty warm so winter weight , very soft, thick and kind of dense feeling. I keep house at 68 in winter. No way I would use this in summer.

Lovely
Wonderfully made. It stays evenly within my Garnet Hill duvet cover without bunching up. It is warm and so not ideal for summer, but I like it so much I use it year round anyway. Price made me pause before purchasing; but this is a rare occassion where I believe I got my moneys worth.

Fluffy and Great Quality
I have been using this about a month, it is so fluffy and warm (without being sweltering), it's retained it's shape and no pesky feathers sticking out. Very pleased with purchase and would recommend to anyone.

Great Duvet Comforter
I have not used a duvet until this one. Having the ties on the corners is great! Very fluffy and comfortable.

Nice quality
We purchased this a month ago and are very happy with it. Seems like just the right weight.... snuggly without being too hot. Came very quickly too.

Perfect weight and construction
I purchased the queen to replace an older, non-Garnet Hill duvet insert. I'm allergic to down, so I appreciate this alternative. The loft is perfect for Northern California fall/winter, and the insert isn't too heavy -- my husband and I prefer lighter weight bedding. I have purchased a few other duvet inserts over the past forty years -- this is the first insert with corner tabs to secure duvet covers, genius!

LOVE
I bought this for my 12 year old who is a hit sleeper. This insert is the perfect weight. It’s not too heavy and not too light. She hasn’t had a hot night since we got it! I highly recommend!

A perfect weight, three-season comforter
This is a fantastic comforter. We've had this on our bed for about two months now (through Fall and into Winter in New England) and it is the perfect weight for a comforter. I imagine this will stay on for three seasons, coming off only during the warm summer months. It is worth the money spent.

Perfect!
I received this as a anniversary gift from my sister and it's absolutely perfect! We have a King size Sleep Number bed and the Double/Queen was the perfect size! We don't want a huge oversized comforter because of all the added weight! This fit just right. It's light, high quality construction and beautiful! I almost hate to cover it with a duvet cover...but I will to protect it. I've bought some beautiful duvet covers from GH thru the years! Honestly, you can't go wrong with this purchase! We love it! Thank you GH for running your 25% off sale! Great bargain!

Bought a year ago and still love it
This comforter is a great weight. The size is not unusual for our queen bed and the warmth is excellent for our climate. Only down side for us is it too large to wash in our washing machine, so cleaning is done at a local dry cleaner.

I bought this product twice because I love the quality. Soft, light, yet warm, just right.

Down duvet truly all temp
In contrast to real down comforters this synthetic one is truly comfortable even in the summer AC. plus it's light and has a nice feel.

Nice comforter
Wish it was a little fluffier and a little less blankety as I gets little too hot midway through the nite. Very well made though. Lose the logo writing.

Textile Design Drawback
I was reluctant to give this a 4 star review (in lieu of 5 stars) since this is a beautiful, quality comforter. Yet for me, it had one major drawback - unexpected marketing. Both the top and bottom is covered with Garnet Hill's signature. Unfortunately, I feel it takes away from the overall design and aesthetics of the comforter. I do suggest that the online photo and description make this more apparent for the consumer.
As always, Garnet Hill's customer service is extraordinary and I am substituting with the Garnet Hill Essential down comforter. Thank you!

great comforter but would like a protective cover
I bought this in April and it is perfect. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars as I can't find a basic cover to protect it. I can't find one to fit it - can you please make one available? Or at least provide a recommendation? Thank you

Nice but Too heavy for me
I wanted a fluffy lightweight comforter, but this duvet insert was too heavy for me, esp when I added a duvet cover to it. The comforter weight is not listed on the product description, but I inquired with Cust service after I received it, and they said it (King size) weighs in total about 9.92lbs. Felt to me like midweight comforter that could provide a good amount of warmth if that is what you are looking for. It was just not what I needed for spring summer, so I returned.
On plus side, the fabric is smooth and satiny, feels like very nice quality. The fabric was rumbly sounding/sort of noisy when you move it around which might bother some.

A good comforter
It’s labeled as all season, I’d say it’s bit warmer than that. I live in the upper Midwest so we get real proper winters and it’s plenty warm and snuggly with out the addition of a blanket or anything. A great weight for fall and winter. That said you’d likely roast alive with this blanket in a warmer climate. I love that I can machine wash it occasionally. It’s a soft fluffy amazing down alternative.

Not so great in washing machine
We have a king size and now two twin sized comforters. The king size clumps in the quilted squares and then you have to manually pull the filling apart if you do not want a ball of filling. I dry these with our dogs clean large Kongs to help to break up the filling but that does not work well. I then purchased 2 twin sizes thinking that a smaller size might be less likely to clump. It seems a little better but the filler still does clump. I refuse to dry-clean items that I will use for sleeping and want them to be washable, preferably in HOT water. This is cold water wash so we will see how they do with their second washing.

Noisy duvet
This duvet is great temperature wise, but is noisy. It has an almost plastic like outer feel that makes it noisy when you move. Washing it didn't seem to help much but maybe after multiple washes it will get softer.

Good but not great
It's light weight & warm. However when I went to wash my duvet cover a bunch of fill came out. I spent 20mins vacuuming it all up. Expected more from a garnet hill product

Wish it was just white
I have always loved Garnet Hill comforters, but now they all have the logo printed all over... I don’t like to use a cover. Now exchanging this one for the essential comforter in white. Hope the cotton feels as nice as this one !

Unusual size
I did not realize this comforter was much smaller than standard comforter covers. It's a very strange size, especially for queen size mattress. If I hadn't removed it from the bag I would have returned it.

Not for me.
Put it back in the box. Synthetic fabric and fill is too hot.

Is there flame retardant in the down alternative comforter?
This comforter has not been treated with flame retardants.

What temperature range is this comforter rated for? I'm trying to decide between this and the winter variety and want to pick the coziest one.
We do not currently have temperature ratings for our comforters. The Down Alternative Comforter – Winter would be warmer.

on the duvet cover and comforters what comes first in measuring length or width ie queen measurement of duvet cover 88x94
What is the filling weight for D/Q?
how is your 43080 queen 90x96 comforter going to fit inside duvet cover 48488 queen that is only 88x94?
I am looking at the signature down alternative all season comforter. Is this certified to the standard 100? Larry
