So flattering
I don’t know when I will be on a vacation again or at a pool, spa, etc., but this suit is another winner from Garnethill! So comfy and flattering and because I am tall (5’10”) it’s great to have a tankini that covers my belly but allows for movement. I am 160# and ordered a 12 and fits great. One star off for fit guide telling me to order a 10 and it is slightly snug at a 12 on my 36c bust

good for full coverage bikini bottom
Even after reading the reviews and checking sizing, I had to return my initial purchase for a smaller size. Thank you for the full coverage but buyer be ware this suit is very large. My initian 10 could really have been a 6. This is not a small bikini which suits me just fine at my age however it may be too conservative for some.

perfect fit, although as usual with swimwear i sized up. i usually wear a 2-4 in pants and the 6 is perfect. thanks to the garnet hill size feature! i bought the paisley and it's lovely and different, a fresh change from my normal navy blue. comfortable and flattering.

best bikini bottom
I took a chance and bought this bikini bottom on sale; and am anything but disappointed! Great fit, extremely comfortable, excellent quality, fun fabric...and flattering for an older woman. I bought a size 6 to be safe; and easily could wear size 4.

Inconsistent Sizing
Gorgeous fabrics and colors (did the 2 paisley prints) and beautiful construction details. I tried many pieces and found sizing soo inconsistent. I'm a 5'1'' 117 lb muscular 45 year-old mom. The size 0-2 shirts were great as was the size 2 skirt. The size 4 bandeau bra top was good, but I needed size 6 for both the tankini top and the bikini bottom to avoid major fat roll issues over the chest and waist bands.

Not great on a short body
I bought these bottoms to pair with the ruched tankini top but ended up sending both back. I'm 5'2", 124 lb (the 6 fit fine), and the together the two pieces, with all the ruching, conspired to give me some serious spare tire. I think they'd both be smashing on someone taller or with a longer torso, though.

just not right for me
I like the material and the ruched waistband. I ordered the paisley, which is pretty, but a little more muted in person. I ordered according to the measurements, but the bottoms come up to belly button, which seems too high on me. I have ordered one size down, and I am not sure whether that band will be too tight, but I am going to try it and see.

Good Bottoms
I love the fit and paisley color! I am 5'6" 130 lbs and a six 6 fit perfectly. These bottoms have great fit & coverage. However, I'm a bit concerned that the liner seems a bit larger than the outside fabric, and had to be tucked a bit. They were fine for a week vacation, but I hope it doesn't blow out larger over time.

great bathing suit bottom
Fits very well on dry land. the fabric is lovely and soft. I chose the mini dot pattern. it is subdued yet elegant.
I have not been in the water so i hope it will not grow when wet. I sized up but plan to exchange for one size down.

Great look...large leg hole.
Great swim suit. Love the top but the leg hole on the bottom is too large, causing it to ride up. I’ve experienced this with other Garnet Hill swimsuits. Hopefully this will be corrected in the future. I ordered the skirt, same issue but the skirt covers the problem.

Pretty, but not for me
This swimsuit is very well made. I am 5’1”, 155lbs. The bust was very flattering, the bottoms were flattering as well... very forgiving! Very nice fabric. But the skirt of the top was short and boxy when hanging straight. Not good for my body type at all. Had to return it.

I actually felt that these bottoms provided too MUCH coverage. That may sound strange, but I tend to find that sometimes bathing suit bottoms try so hard to cover up bodies, that it squishes and squeezes them in unnatural ways. That's sort of how I felt about these. I already own the bandeau top (in a multi-color paisley), which I will keep, but I will be using a pair of bikini bottoms that I already own (in a solid color that will match the multi top) that don't pull quite so tightly.

Runs a little big-I’m a 4 and have generous hips-normally 4’s are just right or snug-these we’re looser than the top team n the same size and I’m pretty small up top!

What happened to size 0???
Why is size zero no longer offered? I ordered these in size 2 hoping that size 2 is now the size zero. Not at all. I have ordered GH swimsuits for years. No longer can. Ugh.

not the fit or colors I was looking for
While the back coverage is probably better for some (it came substantially higher than my lower back) the front rise wasn't great, and coupled with the "rouching" the seam cut in so tight that it made my tummy bulge. Talk about unflattering! Also, the paisley patchwork color I was expecting to have bright pops of color was instead drab and dark. Assume all the colors will be far darker than pictured!!

I’m returning it
I bought two suits at the early spring sale and one I wore for the entire time but the golden yellow I’ve worn less than a month and it has faded terribly. I love the cut and fit but the material is just bad.

Great fit initially but didn't hold up
This bottom was true to size and fit great when I first received it. I finally made it to the beach this past weekend and around the legs was already starting to stretch. Once I laundered, the elastic took on a "scalloped" shape which caused gaps around the legs. Maybe I just received one with defective elastic. I have returned as damaged for a refund. Really disappointed in the quality.

Is there ruching on the back side or does the fabric lay flat?
Our Ruched Bikini Bottom has a flat bikini underneath an attached ruched waistband that has ruching in front and back.

What size should I order?
I'm 110# and 5'5". Typically I wear a 2 or 4 in GH pants. Even though most GH swim suits say TTS, I have found the 6 in different one piece suits to be too snug. It may be that I have a long torso. So, what size should I order in the Retro Ruched Bikini Bottom? Reviewers of the matching tankini top say it runs small. Is this true for the bottom? Thank you.
For Garnet Hill Swimwear we recommend ordering your regular size. As you order a 2 or 4 in GH pants you may wear a 2 or 4 in GH bikini bottoms.
