Garnet Hill Essential Down Comforter is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 258.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good weight for a warm-running toddler This is a good weight for a kid - she doesn't like lots of covers, but she likes this. It will keep her warm in our mild Northwest fall to spring climate without overheating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for our camper I bought this as a nice but not-too-fancy comforter for our camper. The Tourmaline color is nice, maybe a bit lighter than the photo appears. It washed well and feels like it will hold up well to repeated washings, if done according to recommendations. My favorite thing about it is that while the fabric feels nice, it's not slippery, so it doesn't easily slide off during the night. Other blankets will do that when you pile them up for chilly autumn camping excursions. Would definitely buy again. Great comforter for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this comforter I have one on my bed that I use year round. Love the weight and comfort. Bought a second one for my RV where temperatures fluctuate. It’s perfect. Love the size and it keeps us warm when necessary without over heating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Bought this to use inside a cover but it is nice enough to use without!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good comforter A very nice comforter insert, fits well and doesn't creep inside the duvet. Warm enough for four seasons, if your house stays warm during the winter. Clean, good smelling and a nice weight. Makes going to bed more "comforting" than with our previous down comforter.

You say the comforter is smaller and loftier than the blanket. Wouldn’t that make it warmer to sleep under? Which will be the coolest: the blanket or comforter?

Asked by: CoolPDX
While both offer lightweight warmth, the blanket is just slightly cooler than the comforter.

Queen blanket and comforter are same size but blanket $30 cheaper.  Previous answers say fill is the same.  What, then, is the difference?

Asked by: Sje4
The comforter is smaller than the blanket and has more fill. It is meant to be loftier and is often used with a duvet cover. The blanket is a bit larger and is sometimes used as a layering piece on the bed. For your question about pricing, please call customer service at 1-800-870-3513.
