Great comforter
Soft, warm and light and the pastel sea green color (out of several available colors) was perfect for the bedroom.

One for each bed in the house
I've been buying these comforters for about 10 years and they are absolutely perfect. They are light enough that we use them year round, even in the summer. Yet they are warm enough in the winter and we just put an extra layer on top then. The comforters are very breathable and I never get too hot. When you first take it out of the package it is quite flat, but it fluffs up after using it. I am extremely picky when it comes to comforters and this is the only one I will ever buy. The white you can see some dark feathers here and there through the fabric but that doesn't bother me. The material is soft and comfortable and looks great.

Amazing down blanket
I purchased this for my 94 year old mom who is always cold at night. She’s now sleeping like a baby! Exactly what I was looking for. I could not be happier.

Nice down comforter, great weight.
This comforter is lightweight but keeps me plenty warm and that’s the beauty of a real down comforter. My only disappointment is that the birch color did not really match the Umbria paisley quilt….but it will do. I love that this comforter is truly a queen-size and not “full-queen”.

Is this warm enough for a NH winter?
Yes, this comforter provides lightweight warmth. It is also a great layering piece for the bed on especially cold nights.

does this comforter come in a non-down (synthetic) version - also is it too heavy for warm weather
Yes, Item #28855, the Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft Comforter offers lightweight warmth in a down alternative.

You say the comforter is smaller and loftier than the blanket. Wouldn’t that make it warmer to sleep under? Which will be the coolest: the blanket or comforter?
While both offer lightweight warmth, the blanket is just slightly cooler than the comforter.

Queen blanket and comforter are same size but blanket $30 cheaper. Previous answers say fill is the same. What, then, is the difference?
The comforter is smaller than the blanket and has more fill. It is meant to be loftier and is often used with a duvet cover. The blanket is a bit larger and is sometimes used as a layering piece on the bed. For your question about pricing, please call customer service at 1-800-870-3513.
