Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy blankets, beautiful color (clay) Love this down blanket. Bought 2 for twin XL guest beds. Perfect for ten months of the year in northern MN; July n August being too warm but then they lay across the bottom of the beds. Clay color is more “salmon” in color, but kept the blankets and they brighten our guest space in a pine paneled room.

Is this blanket recommended for southern climates, such as Florida?

The reviews, while full of high praise, repeatedly mention how WARM these blankets are. I'm looking for a lightweight blanket for our beach house in Florida. Considering this, would you recommend this blanket? If so, would you get the down or the down-alternative?
Asked by: IslandMama
This is not a lightweight blanket so it may be too warm for you in Florida (especially in the southern part of the state).

The individual swatches of flowerpot & cucumber look much richer than in the group photo (washed out).

I would definitely purchase one of these if they are indeed the richer looking colors.

The colors are saturated. They do not have a washed out appearance in actuality.

I bought the queen size jersey comforter cover. Will this queen size blanket fit?

the quilt i have currently is large and does not fit very well inside the comforter cover. Will this blanket be too big to fit ?
Asked by: raspberry
Yes, the queen size blanket should work in the queen size comforter cover. We do recommend that the comforter be larger than the comforter cover to keep from shifting completely to one side or the other.

What is the difference between down & primaloft?

Asked by: LSB26
Primaloft® is a superior-quality microfiber that mimics all the warmth and lofting qualities of down. Primaloft® comforters are machine washable and dryable. Down is comprised of the softest fluffy clusters from the breasts and underbellies of geese, ducks and other waterfowl. This exquisite fill has wonderful lofting and insulating capabilities, is lightweight and compressible, and allows body moisture to escape.
