Well made blanket
If you’ve never owned a down blanket you’re missing out! They are all year round comfort. This one is well constructed and a very nice weight.

Comfy blankets, beautiful color (clay)
Love this down blanket. Bought 2 for twin XL guest beds. Perfect for ten months of the year in northern MN; July n August being too warm but then they lay across the bottom of the beds. Clay color is more “salmon” in color, but kept the blankets and they brighten our guest space in a pine paneled room.

Love It!
Bought this on sale a while back, limited colors but the lovely, peaceful subdued green reminded me of spring to come. Light-weight but just enough warmth for now and warmer days ahead. Ideally, was looking for down filled light weight throw but not available so purchased twin size which works fine for what I needed in both bedroom and elsewhere.

What is the difference between this down blanket and the down comforter
The comforter is smaller than the blanket and has more fill. It is meant to be loftier and is often used with a duvet cover. The blanket is a bit larger and is sometimes used as a layering piece on the bed.

I'm allergic to feathers. Is the down in the comforter hypoallergenic? If not, which recommended comforter is similar to the down filled ones?
If allergic to feathers, we suggest you try our down alternative. It provides the same warmth and loft as the down comforter, but contains a hypoallergenic Core-Loft filling. It is item #28854, Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft Blanket.

How is the "essential down comforter and throw" item different from the "essential down comforter" item? why is the former item less expensive? Looks like same fill level(?)

Are these warm enough for the winter or strictly a warm weather blanket
This blanket is all season. It is wonderful alone for warmer months and is a great layering piece for very cold temps.
