Rated 5 out of 5 by from cozy! I chose this wonderful throw because I already have at least two twin size Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft blankets and love them! They are warm and lightweight and perfect for most nights on the coast of central California, especially in winter when combined with a lightweight fleece blanket and flannel sheets. Sometimes, when the winter temperatures in my area drop into the low 40s to the high 30s, I might need another layer to stay warm. The throw is perfect for curling up on the sofa, and for a quick wrap or blanket when wandering sleepless around the house in the dark. I keep it folded over the back of the sofa under a pile of pillows and it seems to be happy there until needed. The color I chose, Coal, is soothing deep grey that is neutral and compatible with other colors. The fabric is tightly woven and has a slight sheen. I'm happy with this throw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect summer weight blanket! I bought my daughter the aqua colored comforter and found it such a nice color and weight, that I bought two more! Certain colors were deeply on sale so that helped my decision. I like to 'feel' a blanket even in the summer without waking in a pool of sweat and the core-loft fit the bill. With the lovely, vibrant colors, nice fabric feel, and easy wash-ability, I would recommend this to anyone. I think it will provide a nice layering blanket for the winter months as well!

Hi - I am looking for a colonial or muted blue. Citadel looks as if it could be in that range, but it also looks quite green. Fountain Blue looks even more green on my screen. Can you clarify the colors for me on the comforter? Many Thanks

Asked by: LKM1
The Citadel Blue is a a medium blue with teal tones and Fountain Blue has strong green tones.

Can you describe the color amber gold? Is it a dark sunflower yellow? Or a paler yellow shade? Sometimes the photos are not quite on target.

Asked by: Mitziemc
Amber Gold is a golden spicy mustard shade.

The primary difference is the fill. The Core-Loft throw is filled with a down alternative while the Essential Down Throw is filled with down. They both are 52 x 80.

Between “Water” and “Fountain Blue,” which one is more of a true aqua or turquoise? Which one is has more blue tones?

Asked by: Gray777
Both Fountain Blue and Water have green tones. The color Fountain Blue has more blue than the color Water. Neither of these colors are of a true aqua or turquoise hue.

Hello! The "Water" color looks rather green in the picture; but would you say it is definitely blue? Thank you!

Asked by: Innocent
The color Water has deep green tones. It is not a "true" blue color, but more a green with blue tones.
