Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft® Blanket and Throw is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 355.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice light weight blanket/comforter for summer This is a a great blanket/comforter for the summer. Not sure how warm it will be in cooler months but will likely be a nice layer to add to the bed with other blankets. We got the grey, which was a bit lighter than expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight The blanket survived the first washing in fine shape. The colors are good and they've passed the dog-appreciation test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these blankets! I’ve bought many of these and love them. This one is for our grandson and he loves how soft and cozy it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight comfort I have two of the core-loft throws: one on the bed for naps, and one in front of the tv to keep cozy while catching up on movies and news. There is an attractive array of colors -- I ordered bay leaf and rhubarb. They wash well .The filling stays put and the colors true. However, the best feature is the size. This throw covers an average adult person from head to toe and side to side. The days of continual tugging and adjusting a too-short or too-narrow cover are finished. This one is wonderfully frustration free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lovely I bought the white but returned only because I thought the color choice was a bad one given that a dog and cat sleep on the bed as well as the 'humans'! I liked the core loft blanket so much that I repurchased a solid in Celestial and one in the painted, neither of which I have yet received. The item is well made, easy to care for and looks good. I'll assume that it will wash and wear well. Can't wait to receive the replacement I ordered.

Between the down blanket and the hypoallergenic core-loft which one would be cooler. I already have the plush loft blanket, but need a navy blanket that can be used in the summer

Asked by: Dasiy
We compared the difference in size Double/Queen: Core Loft Blanket: 24 oz. fill, 5.89 lbs. Down Comforter: 18 oz. fill, 5.15 lbs. They both have a 230 thread count and 550 fill power. The down blanket would be slightly cooler.

What is the difference between the Core-Loft twin comforter and twin blanket besides measurements (the blanket is actually longer-96")? Do they have the same oz's of fill or is the comforter a heavier fill? Thanks.

Will the signature flannel duvet cover work with this item?

Asked by: BeccaRhea527
As this is a blanket and cut larger than a comforter, it may not work well within a duvet cover. We would recommend the Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft® Comforter, #28855.
