Garnet Hill Essential Core-Loft® Comforter is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 290.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fluffy cloud We bought this blanket for our bed - it’s very lightweight yet warm. Occasionally too warm but mostly perfect if you keep your bedroom heat down at night. It’s like sleeping in a fluffy cloud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm I bought two twin size comforters for a guest bedroom for the grandchildren and was a little worried when they arrived that they would not be warm enough. I spent a night sleeping under one of them with a sheet and duvet cover and was plenty warm. It was below freezing outside and I had the window cracked open since we had just painted the room. They appear to be very well made. I am happy with my purchase and also with the Christmas gnome sheets that I bought to go with them from Garnet Hill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a Versatile Comforter I have owned my king GH Core Loft Comforter for a year and all PNW seasons. It is perfect in summer with percale sheets. I run cold and in winter I layer it with flannel sheets and a weighted blanket. I initially put it in a duvet cover as I am a bit of a traditionalist and got it after many years of goose down, but I recently decided I wanted a different look for my bedroom and ditched the cover. It felt a bit heretical, but the comforter by itself is attractive. Some Core Loft fibers do escape, but I haven't found it to be a big deal. I have laundered the comforter at home in my average sized front loading W/D and it has come out fine, which is essential if I am going to use it without a cover. I am loyal to GH's quality linens and this comforter does not disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and attractive Finally opened this up and laid it on the bed. It looks like a perfect weight for our Virginia winters and the quality and color (birch) are quite nice. Looking forward to sweet dreams tonight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made comforter.................. I have been using this comforter for about 6 weeks. It looks very good on the bed, and feels of quality. It is light weight as we prefer, but it is bit too warm for us. We are hoping once the weather gets colder, it will be perfect. Although it's a bit warm for us, we still like the looks, feel and weight of the comforter and would recommend it to others.

What is the difference between the essential blanket and the essential comforter? They both come in down and in Core-Loft; they have the same fill power and the same threat count in the shell. So, why is the comforter more expensive?

Asked by: WillyGee
The Essential Core Loft Blanket is larger than the comforter. The comforter does have more "loft" making the comforter appear fuller. Often customers use the blanket as a layering piece and the comforter to top off the bed.

Hello! The "Fountain Blue" looks very green in the picture. I would like an aqua blue, but I'm afraid this is much too green. What do you think?

Asked by: Innocent
You are correct - the Fountain Blue has very strong green tones.
