Favorite Maxi Knit Skirt 4.8 5 145 145
Very pleased I was very pleased with this skirt. I tried it on, however, I haven't worn it as yet. I like everything about it. I love the longer skirts and probably will get another one. April 15, 2015
Lovely Skirt Loved this skirt. It's well made, drapes nicely, soft, and versatile. However, it was way too voluminous for me. I am 5'3" and 95 pounds. I would highly recommend, and size down. April 14, 2015
Perfect skirt I haven't worn it yet, but when I tried it on, it didn't take long for me to decide it was perfect. I'm petite and only 5'1". The length was long, but not too long. Perfect. The fabric and style something I had been wanting from a Chinese design company, but didn't want to order so far away. Glad Garnet Hill had it. April 13, 2015
As good as it looks The unique style Is comfy, drapes beautifully, gathered pockets & hem makes the look casual or dressy. Beautiful design -- may get another! April 12, 2015
Favorite new skirt I wasn't sure whether this skirt would be flattering on a full figure, but it really hangs nicely and the pockets don't add bulk. I am usually between a medium and a large. The waistband is not tight and the skirt is really full, so I would recommend going down a size if you're not sure. April 12, 2015
lovely but bulky I'm 5'7, 118 lbs purchased an xs...the skirt was really cozy but did absolutely nothing for me in terms of style...too bulky--yet, this could be the simply nature of wearing a long skirt...in any case I sort of felt overwhelmed by it and returned it. I think it would suit many folks however!!! April 11, 2015

The hip measurements are only 2 inches larger than the waist measurements for each size. That must be a misprint. Where is this item made? Any possibility of it being offered in petite sizes? 38 1/2 inches is much too long for me.

Answer:
The waist is a relaxed measurement taken at the opening and the hip is a high hip measurement taken along the waistband seam. It is made in China. Sorry, we do not offer it in petite at this time.

Is it simply a matter of cutting and turning the hem under to stitch?

Sizing

Does this run small? The listed measurements look on the small side.
It seems like it would be very clingy on the hips, since the hip measurement is only 2" larger than the waist and it doesn't appear clingy in the picture.
Thanks!

Very long legs

I am 5'10, I usually wear jeans size 27/37. So I have very longs legs and a short torso. Will the skirt be a good length or will it sit awkwardly by my ankles?
