Eyebobs Readers is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality Very nice, good quality glasses. I bought the blue and the tortoise. The tortoise were smaller and I returned them because they were too small for my face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and stylish Love these readers and appreciate the great quality over the drug store pairs that I have also tried. I purchased the blue tortoise . I keep them at work and will be looking to get a pair for home. Four stars on value just because its a little more than I wanted to spend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I couldn't live without my Eyebobs! I love my Eyebobs glasses! I purchased inexpensive drugstore glasses at first but they kept breaking, peeling, etc. I bought my first pair of Eyebobs about 2 years ago & now will wear nothing else! The frames are sturdy & come with a great protective case. I have the sunglass Eyebobs & just purchased my 5th & 6th pair of Eyebobs - all on sale at various times. I lost my favorite pair (caramel tortoise- which was greatly admired) but unfortunately Garnet Hill no longer carries this style. I have classic tortoise, blue tortoise, caramel & dark blue. The dark blue is really large for my small face (I kept them anyway!) but the others are a perfect fit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great readers Eyebobs are expensive readers but they are well made and stylish. I have actually bought them and brought them to an optometrist to have custom lenses made. I find the frames at many optometrists to be overpriced with frames running hundreds of dollars even before you get to the "meat" of the purchase, lenses. These frames are optical quality (most readers are not) and my optometrist has no issue putting corrective lenses in them..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great readers I've bought them before and reorder them because I love the style and quality.

Good morning, The eyebob readers photo shows 4 pair of glasses. I only want the third pair down - the smallest ones (magnification of 2.0). How can I order these, when I click on tortoise it shows a thinner frame....

Asked by: Fineline57
The Classic Tortoise frame is as shown on the model with the blonde hair.

I can't tell how the eyebobs are labeled based on the photo. Could you please give the description of the name of each one specific to the photo?

Has anyone successfully converted these to progressives? Also, when the glasses are open is there a gap at the hinge?

Asked by: lisa423
We would recommend checking with your eye wear professional regarding converting these to progressives. There is no gap at the hinge when the glasses are open.

What is the style name Eyebobs gives the Dark Tortoise readers?

Asked by: Eyebobs
I purchased from Garnet Hill, online, the eyebob frame "Butch" in the last year. At time of purchase, GH referred to the Butch frame as "Classic Tortoise"; described as having a "scholarly"look. "Dark Tortoise" was a totally different frame, with its own eyebob company, frame-name. As I write this, "Butch"/Classic Tortoise, is the frame displayed in both pictures of the (two different) women wearing the frame.
