At first I thought it was too big but then I tightened the waist and folded up the sleeves some and it instantly looked so stylish! Got so many compliments! The color is a bit darker than pictured. It’s more like a light yellow brown not mustard.

The way the waist cinches and offset collar and placket work it manages to be somehow sexy while still totally covering you. I may never take this dress off.

But I will wear it for twice as long as something I'd buy as fast fashion. It gives me confidence because it is well made. This purchase was so impressive that I placed a hefty order the second time. I hope this helps me to get dressed with more ease. I have found it absolutely depressing to try to find clothes. Its been a nightmare just to find basic coordinates. I'm hoping to shop less with better quality. Especially after seeing a documentary on YouTube about fast fashion pollutants on the Western Coast of Africa. I am a thrift shopper. And I find less and less of what I need in the thrift stores. I want to be an elderly person dressed elegantly with 3 or 4 sets of clothes with the detail and style of a different era. Above all, I just want to be comfortable

I hope Garnet Hill will offer more dresses similar to this one for those of us who are too old for above-the-knee styles.
