Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice blouse It's a very nice blouse. Especially, if you are into polka dots, like I'm. The fabric seems a bit stiff, but I haven't washed it yet. I bought it in gray color - my favorite color. It looks very good with a gray cardigan, dark gray or black pants and silver jewelry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great! Love this shirt, I plan on buying in another color. Again - love the subtle colors that go with a paler skin tone. I am a 38B/C but the 8 fit great - I will have to sew the gap between button closed. Only wish it were a bit longer to peek out from under a sweater at the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shirt The shirt is simple yet unique and well-made. It's also true to size. I'm a relatively large woman and find the shirt to be slimming. I think it's a bit overpriced though. Still, I bought it in 2 different colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Slim Fit First time I wore this shirt, first person to see me said "You are so thin". Not so much--it's just that the silhouette is slim and therefore flattering, even untucked. I agree that the sleeves are snug, but I like it. Would be a breeze to layer. For that reason I also appreciate that the sleeves are full-length and not 3/4--that gets so awkward under a sweater. I also appreciate full-length sleeve and lightweight fabric for sun coverage. It's a winner for me but I'd avoid if your frame is a bit on the large side.

Does it run large, small or TTS?

The reviews are mixed on size. I was wondering if someone could specifically compare what size they got this in vs. what they get from other retailers? I'm usually 12 in tops at J. Crew for example, but strangely enough I'm more often M in letter sizing. GH tends to run a bit large for me, though I never got a buttondown shirt from them before, so I'm trying to decide between 10 and 12. Any opinion would be appreciated!

I purchased a 16 and an 18. Either one should fit just fine. The 16 is extremely tight, and even the 18 is snug. In other clothing brands, I have not had this occur.

Would this shirt look ok untucked? I am past the tucked-in shirt stage of life, and it sounds like it is tapered and would give me some shape untucked

Yup, I've worn untucked, although you'll want to keep the bottom button undone if your tummy is ample (like mine is).
