Eileen Fisher Cotton & Linen Ribbed Face Cloths 4.4 5 94 94
Too Thin! I don't know if it's the addition of the linen that makes these some of the least pleasurable towels I've owned, or just the general thinness of them. They do suck up the water from your skin, but that leaves you with an uncomfortably thin wet towel to finish drying with, not the preferable (to me) thick, deep wicking cotton towel that, even as you're finishing drying off, still has enough dry area to keep you comfortable. I can imagine these will be even more uncomfortable to use when the colder weather arrives. I would exchange them if I could, but I imagine, since they've been laundered and used, that is no longer an option. I will know better next time. June 11, 2015
extremely disappointed I am extremely disappointed with these towels. I expected better from Eileen Fisher...especially at this price. They are pretty to look at, but that's as far as it goes. The towels are not absorbent. I hoped that after several washings, this would be corrected which has not happened...and to make matters worse, after several washings, they continue to leave lint on everything that I wash them with. They even leave lint on my skin when drying off with them. May 25, 2015
Design excellence We're very fussy about our towels. They can't be too small or too large, too thin or too thick. And they have to fold symmetrically, so they look handsome on our towel racks. These fit the bill perfectly. The neutral color (oyster gray) nicely compliment our EF natural linen shower curtain. The linen blend gives them a bit of a loofah effect, which is something we like. If you prefer softer towels, don't choose these. They are quite absorbent and dry quickly. Glad we chose them. March 28, 2015
Lovely Textured Towels I appreciate these towels more than any I have bought or experienced. Their ribbed texture is just right, exfoliating the skin, but not too much. Of all the Eileen Fisher products I have purchased, these are my favorite. When on sale, they are only slightly exorbitant in price. Thank you, Garnet Hill, for carrying these towels. I look forward to another sale! September 29, 2014
Great towels Very nice towels, with a lot of texture for a good rubdown. The linen adds body to the cotton so they're not limp feeling. The quality is very good, though I have found a couple of pulls - probably unavoidable in a loop weave. I lucked out and got them on sale with no shipping, so they were definitely a good deal for me. Loved Quality, Not Color Received the bath towel today. Loved the quality and feel, but the color is more gray and less brown than I hoped for...doesn't work with the paint in my bathroom. Unfortunately, I will be returning. Would love to see this towel in a natural/flax color. September 16, 2014

The Oyster Gray is a gray color, while the Driftwood is brown. However, they do go nicely together.
