Eco Merino Vented Turtleneck Sweater is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted Love this sweater. It is light enough for Louisiana winters and covers all my bad spots. Comfy and long enough for my very long waist. I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite sweater My favorite sweaterI have been looking for a turtleneck wool sweater and this is the perfect one… Light weight… Love how it feels and how it looks on… I don’t wear it with the belt… I took the belt off… Looks lovely either way…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice twist This top is just different enough that people will notice it. I wasn’t sure I would like the tie around the middle but it works. Color is great for any pants and it is so soft and comfy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of compliments I was very happy with this top and the color "Portobella" is beautiful. I deducted one star because it's short waisted on me, and I can't do anything about it since it has a built in casing for the sash in the back. I still wear it and love how soft it is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from quality, but thin This merino sweater is good-quality merino wool but is very sheer. It runs large, and the oversizing helps with the transparency issues, but it probably needs a layer underneath (I personally don't like to have to do that unless it adds to the look or unless it is very very cold, in which case I would just choose the wonderful oversize turtlenecks by GH that are warmer and more substantial). The other factor here is that I called and was told by a representative that the "cinch" was a reference to the option of tying the belt and that their were loops I could cut off it I didn't like the belt (in the picture shown of the color black, loops are apparent). Actually, though there are no exterior loops, but an inside "pocket " loop in the back of the sweater. The way it is manufactured actually works better if you don't want to use the belt.

What does “cinched” back waist mean?  Elastic?  Can you wear it without the tir?

Asked by: Nanadot
It has a back waist tunnel for 1" wide self-tie belt. The belt can be removed.
