Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants. These pants seems true to size. I'm 5'9'" and 174 lbs. Got a size 16 and they fit well, plus are long enough. The fabric is thinner than I expected, so will be summer pants for me. I like them, although I think they are a little over-priced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice pants Usually I wear a size 6 in pants ( 5'4", 137 pounds, athletic & curvy ) but these pants are too conforming for my body. They are a nice weight and well made and I am thinking of trying a size 8 because I really like them . I want them to fit like the photo of the model. If you are curvy then you may want to size up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from too short Nice fabric & color. Really wanted them to work, but just too short. I am 5'8 with long legs. I keep trying Garnet Hill pants & they are simply to short. Wish a tall version available. Would recommend if you are 5'6 or below

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great fabric. Odd cut. I love the fabric: the weight, the hand, the body. It's a gorgeous silk/linen blend and just right for flowing, wide-leg pants like this. However, the cut is a problem. It seems to be made for women without curves. I have a 27" waist and 37" hips; size 4, according to the charts, which is my usual size. The pants are listed as classic rise, which is supposed to be about 1" below the navel. These were at least 3" below my navel, putting them on a much wider part of my hips, so that the 30" waist of size 4 was far too tight. In addition, they were tight across the very tops of my thighs/bottom of my seat, as though they were cut for someone whose body doesn't really broaden across the hips, just has a little round bottom that pokes out the back. Because the fabric is so lovely, I'm exchanging them for a size 6. But the size 6 hasn't arrived yet, so I can't tell whether that's really better or not. I'd recommend sizing up at least one size, maybe two, if you have any hips at all.

Does classic rise mean the pants fit at the natural waist?

Asked by: Holston
The classic rise sits about 1" below the navel.
