I agree with the reviewers who say that the ochre background is darker in person, but I think it looks better that way. I love flat weave rugs but they are scratchy so I’d you’re not into that this isn’t for you. I bought it for my daughter’s room and it looks great. The weave looks like good quality and it should last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The mountains are calling from Feels like it should have a story to tell This rug is so unique. It looks as if it came across the Atlantic with Danish immigrants. I have it in our bedroom with the blue Agnes quilt (which looks like it came west in a covered wagon). My husband and I like pieces that look as if they could be “heritage pieces” and this rug certainly fits the bill. I’ve never seen anything like it. Such a stunning piece. The quality seems excellent, like one reviewer commented, you can see some white flex coming through the dark blue, but to me, that just adds to its handmade look. We do have it over top of a rug mat to add some extra cushion under foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Neha from Beautiful and Unique I looked at this rug for a long time I was wanting something different and it delivered. The colors are bright and beautiful. It will definitely need a rug pad because on hardwood it could be a tripping hazard. Get it you will not be disappointed.
