The waist is a bit big, but the pants are so comfortable that I don't care about the waist. I love these so much in light tan, that I also purchased them in black. The pockets are great too. GH refers to them as cropped pants, which I guess is true. They fall nicely below my knees. They have replaced my shorts most days! I wear them ALL the time.

Fits relaxed but not too loose, and not see through. Purchased cinnamon, and it’s a gorgeous color for summer, possibly warm early fall days.

I find the prices at Garnet Hill well worth it for the quality. I bought three pieces in my order and every single one was perfection. Seriously, I need to stop wasting money at cheap clothing stores and go for the quality I really want (and need less of).
