VERY SOFT AND SMOOTH, NO PILLING SO FAR. HOWEVER, I HAVE A SMALL SLIT AT THE TOP OF THE FITTED SHEET THAT WILL GET BIGGER IF I DON'T FIX IT. WAY TOO MUCH OF A HASSEL TO RETURN SO I'LL FIX IT. JUST A SMALL DEFECT ABOUT AN INCH AND A HALF TO SEW UP.

No harmful chemicals. These are not my first set of sheets from Garnet Hill. They have always been excellent. If you see something you like - buy them, they are worth every penny!
