Has the binding changed in the last year or so to be all cotton? When I ordered one a couple years ago, the binding was not all cotton, and it seemed scratchy.
We have not changed this item. The blanket is 100% cotton fleece and the binding is 53% polyester and 47% nylon velour.

Are these colors the same as they were in 2010 . I have two throws one in pumpkin and one in water. I want to buy a twin in one of the two colors.

Would you recommend buying a King size blanket to fit a Queen size bed (and have room to tuck in the sides)?
Many customers prefer a king size blanket or quilt on their queen size bed to allow for more fabric to tuck in. Customers also like a king size as the sides of the blanket hang lower on the sides of the bed, sometimes eliminating the need for a bed skirt.

How does this compare to the Silk & Cotton Blanket for weight and temperature regulation? Looking for a lightweight blanket that won't cause overheating. Also, could you please describe the Dune color. Is it a taupe color?
Both blankets referenced are all season weight. For comparison, the Silk & Cotton blanket in size Double/Queen is a total of 5 pounds and the Cotton Fleece Blanket in Double/Queen weighs 5.70 pounds. The Dune color is a beige/tan color.

Is the Celestial Blue color dark like pictured in the swatch or lighter like the picture of the blanket?
The Celestial Blue is darker than it appears in the picture. The swatch is a more accurate depiction.

Amazing cotton fleece blankets
I love these blankets! They are just the right weight for summer, when you need an extra layer on those cooler nights. I love that they are cotton and yet feel soft and fleecy, not like other cotton blankets. And I love that they are machine washable. Beautiful colors, too.

Lovely texture and perfect weight.
I haven't washed it yet but out of the bag it feels wonderful. Ithink i found my perfect blanket. The color laurel green is brighter than expected but it still works. I would love more color choices! Maybe something in terracotta to contrast my dream quilt in cypress green.

This blanket is beautiful!
I was so happy to come across this 100% cotton, German-made blanket. It's perfectly sewn, a good/medium weight and comes in so many useful colors. This was a great find and we're super happy with it.

A well made bed might include this blanket
The German Cotton Fleece Blankets are my favorite! I recently added 3 to my collection. I enjoy a ‘well made bed’, color coordinating sheets with the top covers. The beautiful vibrant colors these Cotton Fleece blankets are made in are delightful. The blankets are lightly textured so don’t let the word fleece fool you-it’s not fleece like the jacket you might wear on a cool night. The blankets have a bit of weight to them and the binding is nicely sewn. I watch for sales and have never paid full price for one.
