Coated-Linen Trench Coat is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Coat I had been eyeing this coat for awhile, but wasn’t ready to make the plunge for full price. When it went on sale I had to have it! So happy with it. Stylish, lightweight, water resistant, and fits like a dream. The carbon color is a perfect neutral. Very happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! This is the perfect trench coat for spring/summer wear. Fits great and like the fact it's so light weight. Will be taking it with me on a European vaca so I think will be just the thing for cool nights or rainy days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a weatherproof topper This is more of a light weight jacket than a coat. Beautiful details. Flattering. Had to exchange small for extra small (5’6 1/2”, 110 #s for reference). Btw, I had a great experience with customer service. (Good job GH — please keep that going!) Looks wonderful with tunic length shirts. Got this on sale, so I’m pleased:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from classic attractive coat I am very pleased with the looks and feel of this coat. It is a light layer and perfect for travel. Sheds water but not completely resistant; this is not a problem for me as I don't plan on being in heavy showers without an umbrella. I sized up to be able to accommodate layering options, but it wouldn't have absolutely had to as it would have been useful without layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the way around amazing I am very happy with this purchase. The only detail I don't like is a string at the bottom of the coat to cinch the bottom. It seems unecessary to me. Other than that, I love this coat!

In the measurements listed for this coat, there is a one-half inch difference in the chest measurements between sizes 10 and 12 and an almost 3 inch difference in the chest measurements between the 12 and the 14.   Is this accurate?

I just bought this coat and love it, but I'm truly perplexed about the drawstring in the back. What are people using it for??

Asked by: JLS2
The drawstring is a design element that allows you to cinch the bottom of the coat. It can be loosened when driving.

Is this coat intended to be worn as a raincoat OR can it be worn more broadly?

Asked by: Marge2
This is a water resistant coat that can be worn more broadly as a transitional piece. It will work well as a Spring or Summer lightweight coat.

Will this jacket soften over time, like waxed linen? Not sure how the polyurethane acts in that regard. And what do you do with those two pieces of string in the back? It's kind of annoying to have bouncing against your leg. Many thanks!

Asked by: naomijoi
This jacket should soften over time. The drawstring could be tied or shortened as you prefer.
