Cashmere Wrap is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 1056.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE the Cashmere Wrap!! I first wanted the Aqua Wrap but it wasn't available so I bought the Rosewood. I believe that's the name of the color. It was on sale! I loved it! It's more muted than the computer photo so I found this even better. It goes with a lot of my clothes. Then somehow the Aqua was available one day, so I bought it!! That one goes with everything too. I get so many compliments on both. The wraps are very soft and just the right warmth. I'm terminal cancer so I get cold. So cozy and comfy. I wear them all the time even in the house. Especially when I'm sitting down to read, or laying down for a nap. Thanks GH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm wrap Loved the softness and weight of this wrap. It's going to be perfect for my extended plane trips. Also very warm this spring when I was under the weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! This is the second wrap I have purchased. They are expensive, but absolutely worth every penny! Thick, luxurious, versatile. Have worn it traveling, out to dinner as a wrap on a cool evening, and as a scarf in winter. Have it in charcoal and pale gray and would buy another if it came in navy blue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm in cool places Despite the price I broke down and bought the gray. I take it everywhere I know it will be chilly as I’m always cold. It’s a nice replacement for a sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, versatile cashmere wrap I love these cashmere wraps! I have a black one and a lighter color block version and I take them everywhere. They are soft, warm and highest quality. I've used them as a blanket on a plane and loaned them to friends who are cold. Everyone remarks how soft they are. I'd love to have one in every color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite thing This wrap is one of my favorite things. I took it to Europe in March, when I was travelling for 10 days with just a carry-on and a purse, and used it every day. I wear it at the office when the air conditioning is overenthusiastic. I misplaced at a conference and hugged it tight after it was found and shipped to me (I paid for the shipping -- small price to pay to be reunited). It's the wardrobe version of comfort food.

I'm looking at the cashmere wrap with a Lurex stripe. What is the fabric of the stripe, is it woven into the cashmere and what color is it

Asked by: L June U
The fabric of the stripe is Lurex (fabric with glittering metallic thread). It is woven into the cashmere. The Gray wrap has a gold thread and the Truffle has silver.

The wrap I currently own sheds a lot. Is there anything to do to eliminate this? If I purchase another one, what could I do to prevent it from shedding? This is obviously a big negative in something so expensive. Thanks.

Asked by: 1lcwiabd
Any light color cashmere will lint on dark clothing and dark color cashmere will lint on light clothing. Wearing your cashmere wrap with like color clothing will work the best.

Does the cashmere shawl shed when worn with other wool clothing or other fabrics? I had a cashmere shawl I purchased from a boutique that did shed. Thanks so much!

Asked by: surina
The nature of the cashmere wrap (including any cashmere items) may transfer some fibers especially if you are wearing a dark wrap with light clothing or vice versa.

Is this cashmere wrap really washable. "Joyful Mom" says she had washed 3 times in her review.

Asked by: SuzieQ76
I wash mine on the hand wash setting of my front load washing machine using woolite and drape it on a drying rack to dry. It does plump up the fibers a bit on some of the colors but I own 9 of these and they’ve never pilled or gotten damaged in any way. Caveat- I take great care of my wraps, spot clean immediately if I get a spill and do not wash them often. If you feel the need for frequent washing I would hand wash in the sink instead.

Why does cashmere get little “balls” on it after only a few uses? How do I prevent/remedy this?

Asked by: Australian Shepherd
The little cashmere "balls" you are speaking of are caused by friction, a longer fiber catching on a shorter fiber. We recommend the use of a sweater stone or sweater shaver.

I bought a cashmere wrap from another company- it was expensive, double the cost of the Garnet Hill one. The problem is that it shed all over my clothes, the gray one left fuzz all over my black clothes. Has anyone had this experience with the GH wraps?

Asked by: DiDi66
I now have 7 of these and I use them constantly and give them as gifts (when I can catch them on sale).  They are so soft, thick and the quality is amazing.  And no, they don’t pill at all.  They’re just the best.

Does the chevron pattern tend to snag on watches and bracelets?

Asked by: Handprint
The Chevron pattern is more of a delicate knit compared to the solid design, but is just as susceptible to snags if it comes in contact with jewelry.
